The whole band sound amazing right now, Lars is the best form he's been in since the 80's i think, Kirk too. James always gives his all, but when they're all performing well, it really really shows.

@@scottdavio3716 a lot of people I've seen are saying Rob sounds better now too (vocals wise), I've always liked him as much as any other bassist, Metallica or not, but it's almost incomprehensible that these guys are playing like they're in their prime... I usually love the sound of these modern performances more than the 80's ones besides classics like Moscow Sandman

I noticed that many older singers regained a lot of their capabilities during the pandemic. One example would be Dexter Holland from The Offspring, dude sounded like shit 4-5 years ago. Heard him this year, dude's kicking.

Agreed! I've noticed that concerts just in South America in general just seem to have crowds that seem to try and spend just as much energy as the band does. Always a great sight and an inspiration.

@@Twotontessie Yeah .....not sure what was going on with Kirk......burn out perhaps? He was just kind sloppy.....not playing solo's as written, bad tone....lol ect. I know he's pushing late 50's these days but he's still very capable when he's prepared.

I'd say until recently he was awful. He'd play thw intro to the solo and improve the rest which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't the same thing for most of his solos. But since covid hit he's just been on it. I can't wait to hear another album by them with hardwireds tone and aggressive riffs mixed with death magnetics melodies I would love it.

Pero yo nunca he estado en un concierto en México o Argentina, solo tengo videos de KZfaq para opinar. Aunque ambos son absurdos, yo personalmente creo que Argentina es el top. Pero en fin, esa es mi opinión y al final no importa. Cómo dije, sea Argentina, México o Brasil, son todos públicos increíbles y ya.
