@@horror.metalheadi think it’s the drummer who would fuck with the guitarists by playing faster if he was mad at them, forcing the guitarists to keep up. Not the other way around. A thrash drummer would have no problem playing at this tempo. But a guitarist on the other hand being forced to downpick superhumanly fast because of the drummer…

You can actually visibly tell Lars was a whole lot better having that large drumset... Sometimes i feel that Lars really have become too efficient he has reduced the amount of drums needed and simplified every beat. I miss the times when he made drumfills just for the heck of it, man i miss when he drived the force

This isn't just a matter of thought or opinion. It's an audible fact. James lost his unique voice in the period between 86 and 89. At Seattle, his voice was barely there anymore. It only got worse later. The natural metal rasp turned into soapy, silky squeak he has now.

The set/ stage is honestly perfect. The drum riser is about 7 or so feet high and they’ve built flooring with stairs all along the horizontal way of you watching the show. But it really allows for the band to run wild! Gonna watch the FULL SHOW next!

To be fair Metallica have been dogshit for a good 20 years. It's not like you can grab a ticket for $15 and see this performance. You pay best part of a hunge and get a bunch of middle aged recovering addicts trotting out Enter Sandman for a crowd of balding dads and teenagers going through a phase.
