Hey everyone! Hate to do this, but: disclaimer! This video is recording attempt no 80 or something, I tried to do it during the whole April and was finally able to be somehow satisfied with this recording in the middle of May. A Covid infection really messed up my body and I am still recovering, still need to get a lot of strength back in my arms and hands. So I might rerecord this song again in the future once I feel back at 100%. The midi file has a tiny edit in the cromatic opening and ending scale. I had to switch a g to an f#. But again, I feel quite ok with the rest. Let me know your opinion! It feels great to be back with a new Metallica cover ♥ Yannick

Wow! It has a very dark and grim tone to it. The rage and fury of this song were expeessed in a brilliant manner. I like how the heavy bass, the glisdandos, the running right hand octaves and flickering lights were able to create a tense and tight atmosphere. I genuinely love the intensity you have shown in your rendition. I have to say that today KZfaq has recommended something fascinating to me. I am glad I found this!

@@YannickStreibert So, they did say it was "Satanist", without listening to the piece or anything. I consulted my teachers before this, and they found nothing wrong with it. It's only the person directing the talent show. I'll improve upon the piece and upload it with your credits ASAP. Thanks for the piece and inspiring me to learn Metallica,

Sorry I missed this, had to record some more stuff. Anyway, super epic, nice to hear another Metallica arrangement from you! The nonstop octaves runs and octave glissandos are too insane!

Hi! Thanks for asking. I have practiced this for years, it's always difficult to explain it. Practice glissandi with each finger, up and down. And always stay calm, not much tension is needed (is it maybe possible that this is why it hurts you?). Once you are comfy with all of them, try two fingers together, like the second and 4th. The octave was the last step for me.

I did, but not in the near future - just no time for any videos currently, if you just see my upload schedule. But I am working a lot on Ride The Lightning by Metallica, that will be next. I have to figure out how to make Sabaton work
