I like it because there's no priority vantage point for anybody. Everybody unapologetically gets the same view no matter how much their ticket was.

They are playing these massive ass arenas to maximize profits. This is basically what you get and I was never a fan of these kind of shows. This setup is stupid levels of being too large! It's even worse if you choose to be right up close, you will get stage noise bleed over. You'll be damn close to them but if you want the best listening experience, going to have to be in a seat.

Sound was not PERFECT, but it was still enjoyable.

It's clear they have not captured the younger metal audiences at all. Do you see a pit or crowd surfing here? I'm part of the older fanbase and had my pit time but I typically see older fans taking their kids/grandkids to these Metallica shows and all the young people stand around like statues.

@@muriloninja Probably Metallica banned the pit and crowd surfing so that the GenZ-tards have a safe space to practice inclusivity and respecting personal boundaries whilst also celebrating diversity. It was only recently that James Hetfield had a tender moment on stage in Brazil, felt insecure and had to be bolstered by a lovely group hug in order to have the confidence to play. This is not your Metallica from 1989. I think since they did that MTV Icons thing where they sat on plastic thrones being worshiped by tween girls while Avril Lavigne and Snoop Dogg pretended to be Metallica fans by butchering their songs, the crowds have all consisted of accountants and soccer moms and their putrid offspring. I honestly believe they don't move because they don't feel the music, they have no connection to it. They're doing rock concert cosplay, with a band that they only know from two songs on their spotify gym playlist.

When we gave negative feedback over the garbage album Lulu, James Hetfield called us "fearful people typing from their mom's basement that they still live in", and Lou Reed said we were illiterate. Lars then called us “narrow minded” and then said “fuck them” and “we don’t need them”. When they got criticism for St Anger’s horrible drum sound, Lars called us “closed minded”. When they released Death Magnetic and it was compressed to the point of being distorted (so that it sounded good through ipod earbuds), they got their manager to claim we who complained were a minority, and then Lars defended the mix. When a reporter in Sweden dared to say he preferred a fan edit on the internet, Metallica got him blacklisted. I could go on bringing up quotes where they look down on their old fans as being uncultured and narrow minded, and examples of them deliberately baiting fans with stupid behavior and awful music choices but the above is enough.
