I was there, it was awesome! Rained the second half of the show and MOP was the last song, the lightning made it unforgettable! (btw. you missed the first epic one at the start...check it out ;) ) No idea why James' hand bled, must have cut himself somewhere I guess.

This was the last song on friday. Lightning struck close by the stadium during this song, there are other videos on youtube where you can see the lightning bolt going down. It was an awesome show, friday and sunday. Two nights I will never forget.

I was there on both shows it was a great setlist and a better atmosphere than in Hamburg. Luckily i was under the roof where i could enjoy the lightnings. Btw the rain even began in the middle of the show at Orion

I'm 42, seen Metallica 31 times. I lay once in the heavy rain, that was Woodstock 1999. And they never missed a note or beat. I dare say they sound even better during a good storm.

Man, wir waren damals auch in Hamburg. Warum haste nichts gesagt?! :D Ich finde, die Jungs wirken echt fit und haben so unfassbar Bock auf Musik! Witzigerweise wurde ich heute zwei Mal von unbekannten darauf angesprochen, ob ich in München beim Konzert war. Hatte auch das T-Shirt an :D

I hold the pick kinda like James does, I have to switch to 2 fingers throughout (only works for light up and down or harder down strokes) for some reason, but I can't play fast and heavy up and down/triplets with only 2 fingers.

Ich hab Samstag auf der Ross Halfin Lesung noch mit einem Typen gesprochen (saß neben mir) der ganz vorne stand. Er meinte, die Leute da unten direkt an der Bühne haben gar nichts von den Blitzen mitgekriegt. 😅😅 Der hat geguckt wie n Auto als ich ihm unsere Blitz Schnappschüsse gezeigt hab. Ein Foto ist komplett viral gegangene 😅

Ja, ich hab mich auch gefragt, ob das nicht gefährlich ist!? Die Videotürme, die Flutlichtmasten (die höher waren). Ich hab gedacht: wenn das hier rein zimmert, dann war’s das! Aber immerhin sterbe ich dann bei Metallica. 🙈🙈 Ein Blitz kam auch SEHR nah ran Direkt daneben steht der Olympiaturm, der bedeutend höher war. Das war mein einziger Trost. 🫠

Lars has 4 sets of his new kit under the stage so if anything happens to one of them he has 3 more to use! why 4 you ask? well this new stage makes it hard for most of the audience to see him so to fix this problem he plays at 4 different places on the stage

It's sad to see how James's guitar playing has deteriorated since he used to be such a beast. I can understand cheating with the downpicking, but he doesn't even play proper chords anymore. And no, it isn't just here. I've seen it in other videos as well.

Ich hatte ne gute regenjacke dabei, aber war trotzdem pitschepatsche nass. Also Wacken 2015 war schon mies, aber das hier war übel. Egal. Wir werden es nie vergessen. Die Jungs waren so super drauf. Wenn ich da an die 90er zurückdenke.. das war mehr der olympische Gedanke. Aber heute sind das Meister. Und dann spielen die da auch noch of wolf and man und inamorata.. Die Anlage ist der Wahnsinn. Bei Architects haben meine Hosenbeine vom Bass geflattert. 30m von der Bühne entfernt.. Bestes Konzert ever. 🤘
