This is a recreation of Metallica's "Too Far Gone?" from their recent album "72 Seasons" in the tone style of their legendary 1983 "Kill'em All" album.
Thank you guys so much for 5k subs! we just hit it last night, so this is my special gift to you 🖤 From the first time I heard that main riff, I knew I would end up choosing the KEA sound for this one!! I hope you enjoy this as much as I had pure fun making it!

I love , and subscribe to his stuff as well.. but if you needed this to get into the new album , no offense, your everything wrong with many people who call themselves fans. It doesn't have to sound like AJFA for it to be a good Metallica album... Truth is, AJFA in the grand scheme of things, is a horribly produced album and the new album with that sound would be ridiculous in 2023 with no bass.. . Re edit: As I was was typing this I was thinking this sounds a lot like Kill Em All not AJFA.. as is .. same point though production wise

They have gotten much more melodic in their latest releases, the production si what seems to be off, it just doesnt have that much metal personality to it or originality as older albums did.. I dont get why Nowdays Metal bands choose to produce their albums in that generic way of deeper and compressed tones

@@RanjanKumar-bu7ws polished metal sounds less memorable, nothing like the 80s and 90s sound where metal tones sounded different due to many different factors, nowdays everything sounds similar, because its more standarized, the thing of now is to sound downtuned which leads to generic sound.

Keep these 80s Hetfield mixes coming man, these are superb. Seriously, I can't stress how magical it is to hear those legendary vocals we lost due to him straining his voice in any capacity, let alone as good as these end up sounding. Maybe you could try some Megadeth down the road too at some point, would be interesting to hear 90s Dave doing a cover of Dystopia.

This is phenomenal! It goes to show they haven’t changed at their core if the new stuff fits this well with their old sound and style. James’ vocals in 1983 were nowhere near this level but you can still imagine it.

Of all these amazing mixes, this is the one that feels like it would fit the best on KEA or RTL. Maybe it's just the way the song is structured. Love the Horsemen and Seek references as well. Just incredible stuff man, unbelievably well done.

I kept listening to your mix of chasing light, then I saw this popped up and man, what you're doing here is just phenomenal. Let me make clear that I'm not someone who "hates" the sound of the new album. In fact, I think it sounds awesome in its' own way, but even I can't deny just how fantastic the old school tone, vocals, and references sound fused with this newer Metallica track. What I think is beautiful about your mixes is that while yes, it does sound like the album you're trying to mimic, it also feels like it's own sound. Like some sort of lost 80's Metallica that somehow feels like all of them from that era combined and it's glorious. Please continue with these, and take as long as you need to with them. It's always worth the wait man. Incredible job!
