James hetfield is the strongest singer I've ever seen, even after his mother and sister passed away from cancer, he still pulled through, then even after countless drugs and drink, he still got through it all. Continued to do what he's doing. This teaches us no matter how bad life gets there will be better times so never give up. Edit: and now thanks to a reply, I was informed he's now getting a divorce :(

I don't care what anyone says, this song is a masterpiece. There's so much raw emotion in it.

I remember sneaking out of bed as a kid to watch MTV, hoping to hear this song before I got grounded. Worth it.

James lost his mum in 1978, and it took him 18 years to get over it. Such a tremendous song!

Some people say that this is their worst era, but I actually like this style of Metallica a lot. The edgy make up and alternative metal esque sound has to be my favorite style of Metallica. It seems to have its own niche

The song is amazing but the video clip is out of this world. It’s like a live version of Hieronymus Bosch paintings. Just amazing.

THIS 😮. This song brought me thru the deepest depression of betrayal and darkness from 2013-2017. I cannot thank Metallica and God enough for being my savior!! They are the meaning and king of mental and metal. I only mean that in the best sense of course.

I am just turning 40 and MetallicA has been a part of my entire life. This album came out at a time I was going through difficult shit in my teen years. These guys were there when no one else was....

I love how stricking the imagery was in music videos back in the 90's. Like the videos itself were simple but there were so many great concepts and they were always doing different things with the camera to keep your brain engaged and fishing for all the concepts and references. They don't make music videos like this anymore.
