If you've read the interview with Joey about this you know Lars literally bailed out last second and James was running around trying to find drummers to fill in, so they had to rebuild the set list on site and Joey had literally just come off stage when his drum tech said, "Hey James wants to talk to you". So given there was no time for rehearsal to get use to playing with each other and the fact that the drummers probably had to run back to their warm up kits throw on some headphones and got like 20 minute refreshers, it's amazing that it came out this good. Erick Thor You really wanna go there? He can still play songs alrighty, though he needs some massaging after conserts. The only thing that has deranged in his playing is the intensity, he is quite old and can't hit the drums as hard as he did, though in drums hitting everything as hard as possible isn't necessary, tempo and good groove is the base, though FUCK Lars doesn't care much about tempo.

Hes just an outstanding drummer and incredibly professional. How many great bands he has covered, how many slipknot songs he has written. So well respected and rightly so. My number 1 drummer of all time and if he is not yours, he is certainly in the conversation. Lars is so bad 😂 all the years practice as we. Probably why he is so mad all the time.
