I should clarify that it's possible for two minerals to have the same chemical formula, if they have differing crystalline structures! For instance, both pyrite and marcasite have the chemical formula FeS2, but pyrite forms cubic crystals while marcasite does not. You can learn more on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcasite Hope this makes sense. :)

I am curious. You said the metamorphic rock is from a "just changed a bit" protomorphic. The heat from magma alters characteristic crystal angles. What you described does not explain how the Na is replaced by Ca of Albite. At those high temperatures and pressures water would not be present as a solute for the time it would take to replace mineral ions in a large mass along a lava tube. Maybe explain this exchange of ion process.
