I’m intrigued by the dragonfly. One of the most unique characteristics about dragonflies is that they live dual lives. They are aquatic before transforming into colorful, flying adults. This is an incomplete metamorphosis since they don’t have a pupal stage but fascinating nonetheless.
Dragonflies symbolize protection and guidance. When I spot one I remember to feel gratitude for this life and all the love and care I am fortunate to be surrounded by. Something I should never take for granted.
