Awesome video! I really love your setup for your Meteor!! I never knew just how much fun a small displacement motorcycle could be until I bought my Meteor 350 Supernova last November! Now my VTX1800 sits more often as I am constantly riding my Meteor! It makes me smile the entire time I am riding it! Keep up the great videos!!!

Hello sir! I also have a supernova brown meteor 350 and I've really been enjoying your videos on them. The last part of my commute to work (along with many other roads out here because, well, Wyoming) are dirt/gravel and the meteor really does handle them like a champ unlike my other commuter, which is a silverwing (those small scooter tires and washboarded roads aren't a great combo.) Since our roads are much less maintained I usually stick in second gear/about 20mph on the meteor but it just handles dirt so well for a cruiser-style bike! Thanks for all of the recent videos on installing mods and such too, it's really nice to see (my 'local' enfield dealer is about 80 miles away so I'm going to be brave and try installing some of my own.) Wish me luck!

I purchased the Calimoto app a couple of months ago and it's sent me on some excellent routes. The only downfall is that the app doesn't show actual road closures. That's a bit of a pain but won't stop me from using it. And still much love for my Meteor 👍✌️

Wonderful video Ronin that gravel road was built for the REs The Meteor handled it superbly I can definitely see you going back there on the Himalayan! The Classic 350 would also handle that gravel road no problem I’ve seen a few videos of guys riding on some tough terrain on a Classic 350! Looking forward to watching your bike ride out!👍🏻😎

I enjoyed the ride and seeing the various landscapes you have in Ohio. It certainly would be an easy time on my Himalayan or Vespa scooters. The gravel roads seemed smooth and well groomed. I tried to remain open-minded about the navigation app but I have to confess something between indifference and aversion to navigation apps, communications devices, and pretty much any link to the world via technology. Don't ask me to explain how I rationalize all the video-making tech.... I really prefer riding with just an idea of where I'm going and remaining open to being lost. Here in the East, with the sorts of rides I can make, being lost is a luxury. Different than being out West. I do look at a lot of paper maps, or spend time with Google Maps at home before a specific ride. But once I'm on the road I get into full flounder ahead mode. It's as close to adventure as I can get it seems. Navigation just hearkens to me trying to control life. Another enjoyable video. It's nice to hear you scheming to get another Meteor. It's heartwarming to know I'm not the only moto-schemer.

Enjoyed the video, this was something new 👌. Dont worry about gravel roads, RE makes all their bikes to perform well in rough roads. Many people had taken these bikes in roughest terrain in India thats the reason its very popular here.

That’s good to know. I’ve been Riding my Meteor on some remote gravel roads and it really seems to have no problem riding them. I love this bike and my Classic Signals 350.

Fwooh! I definitely would have installed a skidplate before tackling a gravel road. Though, with my paranoia I would have installed a skidplate before even going on the highway.

I've ridden thousands of miles on gravel roads - and worse! You will be amazed at the increased control if you lower the air pressure by 5 psi. (I've gone as low as 20 psi on the Meteor!) I added a 12-volt outlet to my Meteor specifically to make it possible to use my small compressor to get back to full pressure once I turn back on the highway for home!

For your info Sir, Hunter 350 is the latest roadster bike that you can turn into a scrambler just by changing the road tires into off-road ones. It's been launched in Thailand a couple of weeks ago.

Gravel roads (we call them dirt roads) are the norm here (Outback Oz) and the Meteor handles them no problem with the standard CEAT road tyres, as long as you take things steady.

Another great video. Wow if I go with a Meteor 350 I really when done would like the same windscreen with the same bags you have (In black) and a Steller Blue or Super Nova Blue Meteor 350 would be my ideal setup. It looks like you got the new larger sized duffle bag now added onto your Meteor. Really like your whole setup as it just looks like a killer midsized touring/back road type machine. Could pack enough stuff to go away for a week vacation.😁 The more I think of my riding I will do the better the Meteor looks to me. I love the Himalayan but my riding will really if I'm honest is 100% on asphalt.

@Arachnophilia what a shame we could not sent you some rain from NZ. Our winter has been much wetter than usual. Moist flows coming down from the tropics covering most of the country with blocking high pressure out to the east meaning they stay around for a few days rather than moving off to the west. Our soils are waterlogged!

Offroad roads in the US are just normal roads in many parts of rural India. All of RE's bikes are built to basically withstand punishment like that(even if they're not the Himalayan)

So I just purchased a new 2022 Himalayan and it has this insane engine noise I can’t explain! It’s not a ticking it’s more like a loud metal disc screatching noise? Have you heard about this?

Regarding the Calimoto, does this mean that you think the OEM Tripper navigation device on the Meteor 350 isn't really fit for purpose? Personally, I'm disappointed with it but we need people with relationships with Royal Enfield like you to convince them to upgrade the international software version to the same standard as in India (where it's quite good, similar to Google Maps), instead of suggesting alternative navigation tools. Cheers

Not at all. The Tripper is great for the regular rider. I think the Calimoto is best for me to design rides for the channel. The Tripper and Google maps are great for the masses

How come nobody mentions that other markets got a carburetor and a Kickstarter why don't all markets get a Kickstarter. A carburetor would make the bike at least $1,000 cheaper. I think if the Japanese came out with a 350 single you guys wouldn't even give it the time of day.

In India all two wheelers are required to be fuel injected by the current Bharat stage 6 emission standards. That's why you see fuel injection as standard. 😀😀😀 Of course Export models may vary. 😅😅

@@OlManRonin okay I can see the fuel injection requirement for the home model but I see the all the other ones with kickstarters and so why can't the ones in the UK and America have kickstarters on them or is it just the way they make it a few extra bucks?

@@OlManRonin if their bike was equipped with an electric starter stock from the factory they could choose as soon as they turn on the bike and the fuel injection system is pressurized they could choose either to use the electric starter or they could kick it. Nothing brings the Retro saying more to the surface and being genuine and having a Kickstarter attached to the side of the motorcycle.
