*Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
*Chopped onion - 2 (medium size)
*Ginger-garlic paste - 1tbsp
*Green chillies -2-3
*Chopped tomatoes -3 (medium size)
*Turmeric -1/2 tsp
*Red chilli powder -1 tsp
*Kashmiri chilli powder -1 tsp
*Coriander powder - 1tbsp
*Cumin powder -1tsp
*Asafoetida (hing) - 1/4 tsp
*Sugar - 1/2 tsp
*Chole masala -2 tbsp
*Coriander leaves (chopped) -1/2 cup
*Kasoori methi -1 tsp (roasted)
*Salt to taste
*Water -3 cups
