I think if you are 40 plus like me, then you have to respect the fact that the hip hop landscape is changing. Like it or not Hip hop is about what’s new and what’s new now is sexy red and ice spice 🤦🏾♂️. Thank God I can stream my 90s hip hop.

when i was 22-23 i definitely wasnt listening to music 30 years before my time. get rich or die tryin came out when i was 15, i wasnt thinking bout no damn eric b & rakim. so i cant fault the young fans for not knowing meth & red songs.

I went to the second Summer Jam back in the day that was a different time to now they can continue doing the yearly concert but just focus on the newer acts that concert is not for people that grew up in the ' 80s and '90s anymore

A lot of old heads don’t know when to call it quits, similar to Ric Flair still wrestling at 70, gotta know when your time is up, eras and generations move on, time waits for no man 💯

It’s just this generation. When I was a teen 2:26 I was listening to music as far back as the 60s. And a lot of my peers were listening to 70s music . I was a teen in the 90s. And we always respected what came before us. This generation just doesn’t respect the ones who came before them.

Absolutely! I'm in my 40s and grew up listening to Motown, Funk, disco and so on.
