For those who get confused like me :) Return types don't play any roles in method overloading, it depends on 1. type of parameters and 2. number of parameters .

For method overloading. Can you have a same number of parameters but parameters are different?

@@ckal123 Yes. You can if the parameters are of different data types. The Java compiler determines which method to call based on the number and types of arguments passed to the method. So if you have two methods with the same name but one accepts a 'String' and 'int 'parameter and the other accepts a boolean and double parameter, they can be considered overloaded methods.
