I'd suggest reading the Book "The Story of King Arthur and His Knights" by Howard Pyle, you learn alllll about this... Uther Pendragon is the father of Arthur (the famed King Arthur)

The Two Churches thing can be largely ignored; there’s very little gameable difference between the two types of Christianity. Suffice it to know that Britain had already turned Christian long before the Romans ever colonized the island. Papacy was in a very ancient form too, so, either get eyeballs deep into ancient Church history, or just don’t sweat the difference between British and Roman Christianity. This ain’t the Protestant Reformation.
