This track is defunct now as almost converted to BG..I have fond memories of travelling on this route when steam engines were the king...

Indian Railways (April 2018) Is to preserve 5 of Its Metre-Gauge Lines ... the Visavadar-Talala line in Gujarat(42 km), the Mhow-Patalpani-Kalakand line in Madhya Pradesh (30 km), the Mavli Junction-Marwar Junction line in Rajasthan (162 km), the Nanpur-Mailani line in Uttar Pradesh (171 km) and the Mahur-Harangjao metre-gauge line in Assam (47 km).

Beautiful! I love the composition of your shots! :) If you ever want to do railfanning in AHmedabad let me know. I live on the outskirts and on the AHmedabad-Abu Road BG line and Ahmedabad-Mahesana MG line.

Amazing videos. Just out of curiosity, would you have any video of Pink City Express train? It was a MG train between Delhi to Jaipur. I've been searching for it for quite a while.

Very nice coverage of the baby diesel engine train with wonderful showcase of landscapes and greenery. Also give information about name of train and present location. Start and last stations and total distance between them. Almost all the trains are having 10 boggies. Thanks.

No this line is converted into Brode gadge from march 2019 you can board from jaipur.

Gov should not convert mg to bg. Upgradation with electrification of mg trains can increase it's speed from 75 kmph to 90 kmph as gov did in Chennai mg sections ...

All meter gauge routes are being upgraded. Almost 90% have already been upgraded.
