and i don't get why a simple guitar riff, a simple drum loop, and a trumpet make this a poppy song. its a chill ass tune.

This EP was pretty different compared to newer stuff especially. It's still very very good though. Great feel.

too bad they don't still have this sound from Static Anonymity era. Down, Siamese Cities & Torture Me are some of their absolute best songs and they're not even on itunes.

Saw them back in 2004. Death From Above 1979 opened. Excellent show. Death From Above practically destroyed my eardrums.

+92RedRevolver A lot of tracks were taken off Grow Up and Blow Away at some point, and the EP isn't on iTunes. In a sense it seems true... it's a great song though!!!

This is by FAR the worst Metric song. Luckily, it's also the only one they ever recorded that sounds like bad late nineties Canadian radio pop formula. For more crap like this, see 'Sky', 'Tal Bachman' and 'McMaster & James'.
