Measuring the responsiveness of primary health care and people’s experiences receiving services can hold the health system accountable to those it serves. This measurement is also critical to target, improve, and monitor person-centered care (PCC) approaches. But how do we measure this when the concepts, metrics, and challenges vary across service areas? How do we account for local context?
Join JSI as we untangle concepts and explore the progress, challenges, and lessons learned measuring PCC and experience of care across HIV, immunization, and child health programming. You’ll hear from experts in a series of lightning talks, showcasing a variety of measurement approaches and the accompanying challenges and considerations. We’ll discuss the advancements we’re excited about and the gaps we need to focus on to ensure responsive, person-centered care for all.
