Because nobody is going to stop the technology from advancing as humans are greedy and lazy. There’s always some way to improve, but why do that when you can teach robots to do it all for you and even be smarter than the human brain capacity? The selfishness and laziness will only bring about the one thing people swear can’t happen, which is AI becomes too smart for it’s own good and turns on it’s creators.

Definitely could recreate Metro’s style of production through machine learning. There’s clear consistencies, patterns, and blueprint that makes his beats his beats. Aside from himself, nobody can recreate that better than a computer with a deep analysis of his productions.

true but I don't think is true for everyone. plus, it only knows how to recreate what hes already done in a way. it can do a generic metro beat, computers can predict but humans have the ability to be unpredictable think of DJ Premier, how many fake Preemo beats are there, like a billion lol but I've never been fooled by one. and Premier isnt all over the place he has a style that he lives by and sticks very close to.

I would take Dr.Dres worst song just to have a song with Dr.Dre. Metro is also very reliable that's part of why the industry loves him so much.

@@darkskinwhite that’s because nobody’s done it exactly the way he has, or had a deep enough understanding of Premo’s production to be able to accurately recreate it. A computer could surely get much more accurate, because it could do a much deeper analysis. It can be very unpredictable. A lot of parameters throughout code or an algorithm are variables which are randomized. You can’t predict what the computer will decide that time it’s executed. I really think AI will unfortunately get better at producing than anyone. The labels will be heavily invested in it, as they do with songwriters and demos.

@user-eu4vj2gs1z we've thought this about alot of creatively centric things and yet ai still often prevails My prediction would be the more generic radio songs could just use AI beats (cuts out the fee for producers) but you'll still have your great authentic producers of the next age similar to metro etc. Who knows if even the rest of production teams could be automated by software in the future 🤔

They stop normal programs from abusing whatever website/shop, and simultaneously tag a bazillion photos with real human observations (contains crosswalk, contains bicycle, etc) that can be used as a massive training resource for new A.I.

A.I. Art is definitely mind blowing, but I never come back to it, yet. It might look/sound just as good as my favorite art, but I don’t think I’ll ever fall into the rabbit hole the way I do with human art. I could even kinda love some A.I. art, but what could there possibly be to obsess over? There’s nothing to dig into. Every detail is present for the same reason that every other detail is present. It’s almost randomly generated. It might look/sound good, great even, but that’s all. Is there art that’s so aesthetically pleasing that it won’t get boring even if the whole story of why it exists is “an algorithm determined this was an acceptable output for the given input”?
