Gary Berger You know he is actually a nerd right? He’s a huge tech geek and to produce music at a high quality like he does you need to be a nerd in some form. Why do you think its less successful producers then artists? Do be a producer you need to create your own sound and that takes years to craft. A nerd is a person who spends hours crafting their hobby to the point its none of its own. Another definition for “nerd” can be a fanatic of some type or die hard but thats just the mainstream definition which technically isn’t what a nerd really is. So, how about you learn the true definition of the word nerd instead of assume someone is trying to be trendy.
