I'm surprised that the city hasn't put a law in place to stop the horns in a residential neighborhood. DeBlasio will do anything for attention at this stage.

Your Average NPC the metro north’s horns are unrestricted and the lirr has restricted horns. When the m7s for lirr we’re first delivered they had unrestricted horns so they sounded like that but they restricted them in 2010

@@chrisrailfanning1217 LIRR horns are restricted probably because Long Island is very densely populated (nearly 8,000,000 people) Metro North doesn’t run through super densely populated areas, especially along the Hudson River.
