In 2009 I saw Metro Station during the “Believers Never Die” Tour alongside Hey Monday, Cobra Starship, All Time Low, and headlined by Fall Out Boy! Oh yeah the skater kid -> Bam Margera fan -> HIM fan pipeline was strong back then. They were the first concert I ever went to at the ripe old age of 14, and honestly it was a bit shit (though I can’t expect them to put out their A game at a small venue in Melbourne, I suppose). The way they embraced the colour pink was game changing to me as a hard core emo kid girl though, it was like I had permission to like pink again after years of hardcore “not like other girls” vibes in the scene

Man...I remember seeing Metro Station with BLG back when Iwas 14. You're not wrong about Trace's vocals and "Starpower" , for sure 🤣🤣

Trace was dressing in designer everything well before they got in a van to “grind it out.” I mean I like the self titled, but I’ll never be convinced they weren’t already hugely assisted financially and otherwise lol. I think they desperately wanted to be like the other bands that started small and grinded. Them acting pumped to get castle like they were scraping for Pennies like other bands is pretty obvious. Lol but it’s not their fault that their parents are rich at the end of the day.

I remember meeting/watching them in like 2016 at a local club, and it really took me back to 2008 omg. Trace and Mason were super sweet and so was their touring(??) drummer

Flavor flav is absolutely the most talented guy in his group and shouldn't be compared to Trace. He plays pretty much every instrument extremely well.
