the annoucement openning is the same as line 5 lilac/linha 5 lilás from sao paulo metro, but is slower the openning.

It should be Catalan. People will be very happy and appreciate you if you speak Catalan, because Catalan is placed in a very important place in Catalonia. It is used as a main language in primary school, universities, and offices. But, because Barcelona is an international city, a lot of Spanish speaking people came and settled there. So, if you have Spanish speaking skill, but do not have time to learn Catalan, Spanish is fine. But if you have time and passion to learn languages and wish to immerse yourself in the city, please use Catalan. People respect you more. I got a lot of big smile every time I tried to speak Catalan first there, even my Catalan is not good.
