• Amorbis Worm Skip
• Dark Samus 4 Skip
• Screw Attacking Emperor Ing 3
• Door Lock Cancel
• Sequence Breaks*
• Scan Dashing*
• Slope Jumps*
• Skipping an area's energy*
• Bomb Jumps when multiple rooms are skipped*
Allowed Techniques
• Instant Unmorphs/Morphs
• Rollshots
• Using Scan Visor to avoid Super Missile Cooldown
• Manipulating Boss AI
Hitless Rules
• Damage taken from enemies, Terminal Fall, Phazon, poison water, Ingclaw Vapor, and Ingstorm are considered hits.
• Damage taken from Dark Aether’s atmosphere is unavoidable and not considered a hit.
• Damage taken from Amorbis when bombing each worm is unavoidable without glitches, so these are not considered hits.
• Damage taken from the poison gas at the start of Emperor Ing Phase 2 is not considered a hit. Taking damage from the gas after attaching to EI2 is considered a hit.
• Turret damage taken while using one is considered a hit.
• Keeping Cannon Ball is not allowed.
• Skipping Caretaker Drone is not allowed.
*Usually allowed in Glitchless, I decided to not use it in this run

I would consider Dark Atmosphere as "Burning Damage", not "Striking Damage". So that got a free pass from "No Hit"/"Hitless" part.

@trufu9678 This is a tool assisted Speedrun, so it doesn't count towards any rankings since I used save sates, slow downs and memory viewers to create this run.

@@MaskedTAS I didn't say that it is going on the ranking or official site for fastest running, just say that "Burning Damage" is different from "Striking Damage", which is avoidable in "No Hit"/"Hitless" running.

I have seen both of the runs with and without glitches, Glitches What if Samus had no-clip Glitch-les What if Samus

Hey thanks for this though you probably didn’t mean it for a guide that’s what I used it for. Wanted to get to hard mode quickly so I could explore and get 100% but didn’t want to do that twice and well most runs of this use glitches and break the game which I didn’t want to use. Thanks much

Can you do a no damage run? ... I reckon the only thing stopping that is emperor ing 2? That's kinda frustrating lol. If an actual no damage run was possible that'd be interesting to see aswell. A run with only a small amount of damage at emperor ing 2 would be pretty nice too to be fair, just for the memes.

@@MaskedTAS Ohhhh yea part 2 is completely impossible youre right. Light suit doesnt spawn before the Sanctuary energy is returned and light suit isnt skippable.... Thats rip i guess. an actual 0 damage run would have been neat... So close and yet so far. It's literally just 2 spots though i think. I feel like theres a slight chance. Perhaps a displaced cutscene on IE2 could avoid that damage and yea... Somehow skipping IE2 seems possible perhaps given enough effort, this again hasnt been looked into yet too much, since in the main speedrun categories it'd be pointless. I know a displaced cutscene warp is possible if you change room states in some places like in Agon when you havent beaten Dark samus 1 yet and get set to the default position when going back from the dark either, which happens to be next to that blue door. But that's still far fetched. On the other hand i dont think anyone has really tried very hard to do those things. I think there may have been some decent research for 6% 2nd part quad skip without unmorphing making this significantlly less likely to be possible. I'd say the issue with IE2 seems much worse though, if someone were to try it i'd start trying to find around that problem first or at least a solid theory, before even considering the damageless quad skip. Oh, maybe doing a 1 Frame morph on IE2 is possible, i don't think people. I doubt it though, since you haven't done it in your 100% tas. Sure it's not an RTA viable strat but in a tas i'd guess you tried that. (since it would save some time). So yea, if you wanna pull it off, start with IE2 without damage, that seems extremely hard to get around. Messing around with a lot of moonjumps/TAS would help a lot. Would also make for a big discovery and a good KZfaq video if you found a way. ;) Would be a pretty honorable find, since its one of the 2 main problems when doing a 0 damage run.
