I think this needs a sequel on Switch. Zen Pinball should team up with Nintendo and make Nintenso IP Pinball tables

You know, this makes me think of the "Metroid Third Deravitive" sprite comic from 2004. One of the jokes in that comic was that Samus had a bunch of retro games installed into her power suit that she would play while bored. I can just imagine this being one of the games installed in her power suit in that old comic. :-)

It took me a while to realize, at least long ago, that Fuse Games were the same team as Cunning Developments, the developers famous for the Pro Pinball series of simulations. These guys know their pinball, and they delivered.

This looks like a great pinball version of Metroid prime, I had no idea this game even existed untill now, so thanks for showing us this Metroid pinball game Fabian, it looks real fun to play 👍

I love metroid prime pinball. I needed to repurchase it lately and holy cow it was $$ to get. but the music is so so so so so good and the gameplay is soo clean. so worth it. I love hunters though, you can call it 'ugly' but at the time. it was a great arena shooter with diverse fun characters to play.

Yea I looked up the prices out of curiosity after I did this review and..wow. Retro game prices really are out of control lately. Thankfully we have the magic of emulation.

@@GamerThumbTVThinking of it a friend of mine sold me a gamecube, zelda ocarina collection edition and metroid prime hunter and pinball for like 70 bucks. That was a good deal I still have those games even now January 2024 I was playing it today.

I never even heard of a TurboGrafx when I was a kid. None of my friends had one, we were all Nintendo and Sega kids. That game does look awesome though. I gotta check it out some time.

This is unironically not only one of my fave Metroid games, but also one of my fave Pinball games. I actually got some.laughs because when Metroid Prime Music came up on Smash Bros, I thought it was from the Pinball game, not the actual Prime game series...

I'm one of the 6000 that got it on launch. A pinball game based on my favorite series during its golden age? I didn't understand the discourse on the metroid fan forums that the existence of this was some kind of blasphemous abomination. It isn't like this spinoff was the first game release to carry the Metroid name after an extremely long drought and the shutdown of a popular fangame 10 years in the making. Although I hear that other maligned spinoff is actually fun if you give it a chance with friends and have a way to emulate the multiplayer component now that the servers are down. But yeah, I was a Prime Pinball apologist since before the release. I saw it as a great sign, I mean, Pokemon got a pinball game and that series was doing well, and Metroid was up there with the other big Nintendo series' at last during that time, as Other M was still years away.

So I just got an offer from an ebay seller, the most people are selling it for is over $100 without the rumble pack or that really old Nintendo Power ad. This guy offered it to me under 70 bucks, complete with no rumble back, is it worth it? Cause holyshit this game is extremely expensive and the guy offered it to me like 50 bucks less compared to everyone else including the 10% discount.

Oh wow, honestly I don't think any DS game is worth $70 since it can easily be emulated. But I'm not into physical retro collecting much so it could be a good deal. I mean, Nintendo games already rarely go down in price as it is. It is a great, fun to play game.

I actually imported the DS lite rumble pack from Japan so I could play this game with the rumble on without the pack protubering out of my lite.

@@Gary-vv5bg There was one that wasn't different from the one available in western countries, but they also made a different one with a different shape that was fitting to the DS Lite console and wouldn't stick out. that's the one I bought.

I'm sad. I was looking for Metroid Pinball for Switch and saw this video. I was so hoping it was a review of Metroid Pinball for Switch. I still have a DS and the game and rumble pack. I wish it was for Switch.

There was no Prime Pinball on Switch but I would play one in a heartbeat. If you still have a DS and rumble pak this game is well worth tracking down at a good price.

Out of curiosity do you mean having my face on the thumbnail? I've actually been collecting feedback on some of the changes. I actually have an updated version uploaded now.

@@GamerThumbTV yes, that or how the thumbnails i recognize you for have untold legends or button smash logo with ur iconic style. To a less extent having ag least 2 things left and right in the checkered void background you use for most of tour thumbnails, but for pinball the DS box was probably a little too big couldnt see the background. I checked ur recent uploads and theres tons of stuff i wasnt recomended and i wouldnt have recognized it as your videos by thumbnail alone.

The problem of this game... Does Metroid and Pinball suits well? No! That's not what people want from Metroid!

Thankfully at the time we had several Metroid projects at the time. The Prime games were incoming, Hunters was being made, so this was a nice, extra side game.
