A terrific, under-rated album. It reminds me of the band Knightrider from Scotland. Knightrider's singer Tam Toye sounds very like the singer on this Metropolis album. Why didn't these bands become billionaires? They have more talent in their little finger than every one of today's pop wannabees put together. Absolutely brilliant.

I think all their songs are from the late 80s. None of them sound like they were made in 1999. Late 80s, some early 90s (which is essentially the same as late 80s being the 90s really didn't truly start until 1992).

@@DarksaberForce Even then 1992 really also feels late 80sish as well. 1993 was probably when society started to feel 90s. Grunge became mainstream, when in 1991 to 1992 it still was under the radar with glam metal still on MTV in 1992, whereas glam metal wasn't played anymore in 1993.

This is from 1999??? Damn. I thought for sure that this was something from the 80's. Good to know that there were a few bands then playing something melodic when just about everything that was being played on TV and on radio was pop punk, boy bands, pop divas and Nu metal. A dire time for music indeed. Had this album came out in the 80's, it would have been massive.
