I don't know about other Laker fans, but I have to admit. When Ron took that shot at the end of the game, I yelled out "No!". Then it went in, and I was overjoyed. Thank you Metta! You are one of my favorites.

I was too, I’ll never forget it. He let that fly and I said out loud “nooo” and it sailed in. Game 7 was a messy game for everyone but Artest nailed that. If he missed it would have probably been over for us.

4:14 marks tells you exactly how Phil’s offense works. Kobe always stayed in the flow so he was always ready to shoot hit or miss. Ron didn’t understand that until he figured it out. That’s when his points went up.

I would understand how the top athletes worked out really early in the day during the off-season. But during the season, man that is hard. Coming off a game that ended at night, then wake up early to start practicing at 5:30 am. I did hear Kobe mention that he deprived himself of sleep to keep that pace.

Hey Ron, you say Kobe should just Let it Naturally that's why he didn't get number 6 ring. You bums got the chance in 2013 NBA playoffs. What happened dawg? He dragged you to the playoffs right! So what happened to you and the Lakers with out him due to achilles? Swept by Spurs. That's so natural. See, the Dallas team in 2011 won because you got some teammates who doesn't know how to adjust that's what Pjax said in his exit interview in 2011. Plus why are you not mentioning the real deal? The dum du. Son of Dr. BUZZ announced like the 3rd game of the hornets searies that they won't bring back Pjax no matter what the outcome of the playoffs. Same man, who chose D antoni over Pjax in 2012. Stop making excuses. The life from that Lakers squad got sucked out that's what Fish said in 2011. Kobe just continued to play hard even he got severe left ankle sprain and deteriorating knees. Jeez! Good thing I'm not a sucker for revisionist.

Ron is cool but he was not only taking 3 to 4 shots 😂 Ron was shooting so bad I was upset that they let go Ariza for him. He was missing so many clean looks. I was pissed because he's right. He was hoopin in 2009 before Yao got hurt. But he was nowhere near the same player. Because he missed so many easy shots. He became an offensive liability most games putting more pressure on kobe. The lakers offense didnt make a bunch of 3's. Gasol could knock down a mid range here and there. So could Odom off the bench. When he and Gasol played the 4 & 5 But kobe didnt have the spacing todays stars have with the bigs & wing shooting through the whole game. So Ron not being a decent shooter as a laker overall was tough. He came through in clutch moments but he was hurting the team offensively overall. Now in his mind, he's turned that into he couldn't get a chance to get shots because of kobe. No kobe had to force it more because Ron couldn't shoot overall. It got to a point where the thought went from he's in a slump to okay he cant shoot this season. There were games in that finals lakers lost by single digits and he shot 1-9FG There was one game lakers lost by 6 and Ron and Fisher both shot like 1-9FG As far as Dallas and OkC. Nobody in the West other than two seperate kobe teams went to 3 straight finals And kobe did that with & without Shaq on two occasions 2000 - 2002 & 2008 - 2010 in a time where Tim Duncan's Spurs were there. Dirk would occasionally get scorching.. Steve Nash's Suns . Denver was a 50 win 8th seed one year. The west was TOUGH. Warriors only went to all those finals by adding KD. Bron is not going to 8 straight finals out of the West.. Kobe did it twice . 3 straight finals 2000-2002 & 2008-2010 Dirk was in his zone. Nobody was getting in his way 2011 . 2012 OKC was tough . Young & Hungry. Sure Miami beat OKC 4 -1 and they lucked up with Harden missing easy shots all series But Miami was flopping to win that series. Refs putting Kd in foul trouble with phantom calls when OKC had the lead. Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy was trying so hard not to call out the foolery refs pulled. Especially Van Gundy. He was lowkey pissed. It was not easy dealing with the west. You see what that Heat team dealt with playing the Spurs when Duncan is 37 or 38 years old.
