Hi, the cross slide I use is a homemade one, you can see it here : www.homemadetools.net/forum/cross-slides-grinder-support-wooden-made-13624#post16772 It does have a transversal slide that is used here to set the depth (horizontal) of cut. Vertically, the setup is shimmed in order to cut at the axis.
