I love this song so much! I really like how it bursts into the chorus on it, it's brilliant! Mew is a genius band, I really like some of musical solo's in the songs, their really creative like the one starting at 2:59 and ending at 3:15, and then it bursts to drums and the chorus starts again, and I LOVE Jonas' voice! You don't hear a voice like that very often, it's so high and beautiful :D anyone who hasn't heard Mew yet has no idea what their missing out on! AWESOME BAND!!

Great Vid, Great band. There's a whole world of 45+yrs-old Prog fans who have never heard of MEW. If they can break through to that audience, added to their younger fans, they will become HUGE. The next CD could do it for them.

His voice cracked and I still find the performance charming. Very real. Very emotional. There's just no smokes and mirrors with this band.

I'm sure they're not nearly as big in the US as they are overseas but there's enough where they tour here...actually none of my friends knew about Mew until I showed them but everyone I showed them too really likes them so it's all kind of word-of-mouth with their fanbase here.

Hehe, it's hard to miss, and it's super funny. I saw that at Roskilde Festival this year. It sure was amazing. One of the best things I've seen after Radiohead.

yeah, i heard about mew when i was flying on an airplane that had cable. they were on vh1 i think? awesome performace i wish i could remember which song they were performing. Im sure it was only with the 3 original members :) but yeah, they are very good. favorite band :)

It's the same in New Zealand. I only heard about them when one of my classmates put 'And The Glass-Handed Kites' on during a study break. To this day it's the only CD I have ever immediately decided I want after listening to the whole thing. I'm looking forward to their next one with great interest :D

Then you know that they're singing the song without playback. I think it adds some charm to their songs that Jonas can fuck up sometimes, he puts so much effort and emotion into his singing that when it cracks it adds a bit of a chill down the spine.

The number of people in the audience doesn´t matter for Jonas Bjerre - he never sees them anyway... I love them anyway....

this is a good live version. it sounds good. they sound ALOT better if they play like in a big space. because of the small echoe and all. and just the way it sounds. they should play rosemount teather in chicago!!

@codywoody10 Jonas has really been taking into account that people think he doesn't move a lot on stage in his newer shows :') Although I can't blame him. Singing in falsetto and jumping around would be an impossible feat xD

I totally agree with that that, I've listened to the album so many times but I love it more with each spin. They sound incredible live too, btw..first time I've tried looking at some live vids...I'm so upset at myself for missing them when they were in chicago about a year ago...

No offense but anyone would've thought you turned the video off straight after that minor flaw. His singing was almost identical to the album apart from that minor hickup. Mew are great live, including Jonas.

yeah jonas needs singing lessons actually. he has a great, disciplined voice. but it cracked because he lifted his neck.

damn, after watching them online in live performances ive got an impression: they are really a good band, but the vocalist just cant reach the high notes produced in studio... sorry for that. very sad.
