Wow........ as a new fan who knows only a little myself, this is creepy accurate! I hope this is legit because wow! A few years ago, I believe, Mew told the fans that everything he and Gulf had done with each other was fanservice and nothing more and then implied that the fans who believed in their "ship" were mentally ill for believing it was legitimate for so long. Because of this, they have indeed lost a lot of their fans. Also, their show TharnType, their most popular series, was quite controversial then and now. Through watching the whole situation unfold between these two, I always did kind of get a feeling that Gulf had actual, real, legitimate feelings for Mew. And maybe Mew did not feel the same way, or was not willing to admit that he felt the same way, or he had another person who he was in love with. But...... I always kind of felt some sympathy for Gulf, because every time he takes photos by himself, he kind of has a subtle sadness in his eyes, as if he's hiding something very deep and very traumatic. I'm not sure if any of this is true, it's just a feeling I get. Stuff like their public words, their awesome chemistry on screen, their interactions, both on and off screen, and just the way they carry themselves and the look on their faces when they are together in a public space tells you there is tension of some kind between them. Gulf, not very long ago, said that he would assume the responsibility of being a BL actor, which shows how mature he really is! The thing about the BL (boys love) genre, in Thailand especially, is that almost always in a ThaiBL-series that is super successful, the fans want the two romantic lead actors to be together so, so, SO bad, and the industry is just rampant with these ideas. And I'm not saying that there are not legitimate couples in the in the mix, but it is a very hard industry to go into. Because then you are doing fan service all the time, no matter whether you are actually dating your acting partner or not. Most everyone on the teams of the actors want them to do as much fan service as they can so that it will look like they really are together. But they rarely ever really do answer the question of whether they are together or not. Only on very rare occasions, like Zee Pruk and NuNew (another good, nosey reading lol). And people are even suspicious of them even though the have openly said, (and I'm paraphrasing here) 'We are dating. We are real boyfriends.' Heck they even had a special where Mew and Gulf got 'married' for fanservice. (I put it quotes because most people have concluded that it was for show and nothing else.) I hope that helps with a bit of context without making a fool of myself. 😅 Like I said before, I'm a new fan in this genre, so I know some stuff, but it's very limited. Anyways, yeah.
