I’d love to see more things like this; not just for Smash players playing competitive Pokemon, but for competitive players playing other competitive games in general.

@@Gamesmarts194 The nice thing about Pokemon for this is basic knowledge and a good coach to help you make a team and learn how to use it means that, while they're not playing optimally, they aren't so bad that it's painful. Stick a VGC player in Ultimate, or, worse yet, Melee, with the same amount of practice and coaching, and it will be a lot more painful to watch. Pokemon has basically 0 barrier from execution. You aren't going to see a new player completely fail to do basic thing like you would in a more execution heavy game like Smash (or FPS or RTS games for that matter). The only other major competitive type of video game that you could do this so well in would be something like Hearthstone.

He did click back like 3 times in the second round and still picked dynamax all 4 times he was picking a move. Dude just wasn't paying attention, and he did it 2 games in a row. Like, how can he claim that he never meant to do it when he went back and re-selected it that many times, lol. I think he just choked cause he only knew one combo

@@Chronoflation Except the second time it his expression s showed he realized he fucked up and was dynamxing his bronzing once he selected the move and saw he still could choose torkoals moves. He just didn't realize he could back out at this point back to his bronzong

@@arkhilean7427 Ah, haha, I did notice that too. But for him to have selected to Dynamax Bronzong 4 times in a row, he definitely wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. I mean, the names of the moves all change, he has 2 of the same move when he dynamaxes, and all that stuff. He's got some major issues with inputting what he wants. Maybe he holds his controller at an angle so he's always pressing down-left when he means to just be pressing down. Idk, I've never seen someone have so much trouble with a menu before, lol
