Mild Red Chili peppers for Mexican Food
California Chili pepper
Guajillo Chili pepper
New Mexico chili peppers
-California Chili is a dried Anaheim chili pepper. When dried take a sweet taste with bitter undertones. It’s mild in flavor and spice.
-Guajillo chili is a Dried Marisol chili. This Large and long pepper takes a fruity tangy flavor with medium heat.
New Mexico chili is a dried Hatch chili. Large in size takes a spicy, sweet, and smoky taste. It has an earthy flavor and gives back heat.
If your chiles have a lot of moisture you can roast in the oven
Bake at 175 degrees for 6-8 minutes. When you see your chiles turn brown start removing them.
All of these peppers are very versatile and serve a purpose in your favorite Mexican food recipes. Here are a few recipes you can make.

🛑I'm Stephanie and behind the camera, you have my sister Cloud. I started cooking at 4 years of age. What?! Yes (LOL) I pulled up a chair and my first choice was to fry an egg. I was hungry and that’s all I have to say about that experience. I would like to say I’m completely self-taught in the kitchen, but I have the lovely women in my family to thank. They taught me to honor my ancestors and to make my Mexican Cuisine comfortable for my home. I thank our creator for my curiosity and my never-ending search for the next gastronomic satiation. Cooking is a huge part of my daily life as I prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for my two American Korean/Mexican boys. I know who does that these days? Me, I homeschool my two boys and I’m grateful for every moment spent. ❤️ If you love our spectacular homemade recipes, Please take the time to Subscribe and support our channel. Don't forget to click the bell for notifications. We upload new recipes Monday - Thursday. After all, we wouldn't be here without you 😘 Thank you 💕

Thank u very much for your video. I would call my mom whenever I made a certain dish and needed to know which chiles to use. I lost my dear Mamí a year ago today and I never thought to write down which chiles for certain foods. (I know this sounds crazy but I never even thought of losing my mamí preciosa and thought I would have her with me always) I believe you made this video as a sign from her to get my chiles in order. You cook so much like her and ur recipes come out just like hers. She was 88yrs and was from Guanajuato Mexico. Please know everytime I see ur videos, I think of my mamí. She would have loved you and would be so proud. Muchisimas gracias hermanas🙏🏼🌹

This has been very helpful for me. I can't thank you enough. Please don't stop here, there are so many more chilis that you use, and we need to become more familiar with all of them. For me, the spicier, the better. My family, however, prefers the mild. Bummer! Thank you, again!

In SoCal (the San Bernardino area) there is a fast food place called Taco Tia. The best thing they serve is their “hot sauce” or “taco sauce”. I have not found a video online anywhere that shows how to make a sauce like that. You know, one you can toss in a squeeze bottle, and use on your burritos, tacos, pizza...whatever! It’s a dark sauce, and obviously is made with dried chiles, but if you make anything like this, it would be amazing if ya shared a video of that! Great video by the way, I’ve been loving all of your vids!
