I'm also latino and took this dna test, I was surprised it gave me 100 % mesoamerican & andean. My family is very mixed especially from my mother's side. My grand-grand mother looked black indigenous and often dressed with an afro style. Also many people in our family has had curly hair at one point of his life (including myself). His husband, my grand-grand father had white skin and clear eyes like many other members of our family. Therefore, I was expecting some percentage of African and Iberian, I guess I'll be taking another dna test from another company since I don't really trust these results.

If your DNA match shows as a 3rd cousin, it could be a 2nd cousin once removed (2C1R) or a first cousin twice removed (1C2R) or some other relationship. You'll have to research to find out. Also, countries are political entities, not genetic entities, and the country names change over time, so they cannot be precise. BTW, Native American genes originated in Asia.

I'm mexican with indigenous look and I asked to my dutch boyfriend to give me a dna test as birthday gift!! My guesss is that I have native american navajo, mixteca and filipino but we'll see :)

Andean, native AMERICAN, en central American are ALL native American.

You only get half of your parents dna. Your grandparents could have Spanish or African dna but it just didn't get past to you. If your grandparents are alive see if they will take the test too. You can have Spanish ancestors without have Spanish dna.

Do a 23andMe test and you'll be about 90% Spanish/Portugal

The Asian look comes from your Native American side. Most South Asians don’t look like traditional Asians

I am half Mexican, and the only dna test that confirms what I know about my heritage was cri genetics. Myheritage dna was the worst and Ancestry wasn't much better. I can trace my dad's side back to 1428 with names and ethnicities. Only cri genetics nailed it. The rest are not very accurate, in my opinion

South - Asia probably came from the Gypsies in Spain, who originally did come from India. So.. NOT East Asia, so they look European.., except for the skin colour.

South Asian isn’t the Asian you’re thinking about 😂 South Asian is Middle Eastern/Arab countries like Iraq, Pakistan, etc. Vietnam is EAST Asian (so is China, Japan, etc) & apparently you don’t have any in your blood according to your test results…
