Uh that one about the cops is such a mood. Called the cops once on a terrible neighbor once. He was beating his girlfriend badly, could hear her crying and screaming for him to stop. We asked to be kept anonymous. The police show up, guy refuses to answer the door for a long while. So one cop goes to our door and is like "you guys are the ones that called the cops right?" ...bruh. So now this crazy ass guy knows that were the one who called. Thanks officer, the thing we wanted the most was to be on this guys radar.

@@shuou2794 well we gave our statements and names to the cop who showed up at the door. Even recorded the screaming with our phones and offered it to the cops in hopes of it helping the lady. But we never got contacted about that so I assume that she never pressed charges. Though I don't think they're together anymore. Around the time we finally moved from that neighborhood he was bringing some new girl to his place. I hope she is doing better though. And I hope that new girl will also be okay.

Gives me more of a reason to consider not calling them for situations in the future knowing that it could put me or my household in the middle of an issue. Fact of the matter was that around that time I was a senior in highschool living with my two sisters. One a middle school student and the other about 3 years into college and about 5'2" in height. We were young and we had to watch over the youngest because our only parent had work taking them far from home since I myself was a middle schooler. We had legitimate safety concerns because we were young and constantly alone in that apartment with a guy who was legit scum right above us. We absolutely did not want the wrong kind of attention but we got it anyways because our request was ignored.

My mom didn’t use chancletas....she used jelly shoes....and she was accurate lol Edit : I had religious folks come to my door. I spoke Spanish. They spoke it back perfectly and I ended up with a Mormon bible en ESpañol.
