I shall not tire off watching this race.. People need to give this horse credit. To give these band of world class hoses such a lead and then cruise by them on the home turn was a scintillating display of courage and class. The fact i had £30 ew on him also contributes to my glowing, yet wholly fair credence of Prince Bishop's performance

I just don't get some of the comments here. Prince Bishop had solid form going into this race, and won fair and square. You'd think a 1000/1 maiden had won this race judging by some people's reactions.

WOW, congrats Prince Bishop! That was quite a run from way back there up to take first place. Congrats Chrome taking second and Lea for third. YAY. GREAT RACE!

Dang!!!! California chrome got pinched in the last few hundred. Wonder what kind of result would it be had Chrome been on the fence the entire trip.

Don't really follow or know much about these races but that looked like an awesome comeback from PB he had a lot of ground to make up and he did it really fast. These are some amazing and beautiful animals and talented jockeys. I hope to follow these races more in the future after seeing how exciting they can be. Sure wish I could afford to be one of the owners of those horses. Out of curiosity how much do these millionaires pay for a race horse like these? Not to mention boarding and constant training and probably travel better than most of us lol.

Was extremely surprised to see Prince Bishop end up winning that after the horrendous start. Not to say he ever starts well but he was a few lengths from the pack and was being ridden hard early, which usually is a terrible sign in a 10F race. Buick with some genius riding, bringing him outwide to avoid the kickback, knowing he had the speed to make up for the slightly extra distance. By the time they had near 4F left to go, he was better poised than he was for either maktoum challenge and it looked quite ominous. Don't think in all honesty his connections expected that performances, Saeed bin Surour didnt even mention him in the interview before the WC!

Lea's troubled trip run shows us how a good horse can easily get beat by the kickback on this track.

That ride on Califronia Chrome was just woeful. A jockey riding the best horse in the worlds richest race has to be better than that. How could he possibly win sitting 4 wide no cover off a hot speed. Terrible terrible ride but great effort by the horse to run second.

Anyone who knows about horse racing knows that what we saw in this race was too good to be true. With Prince Bishop trailing last at the first turn, travelling wide for most of the race, effectively running the longest race of all the runners by running wide, and then winning like he did in the straight... it is very surprising... very very surprising indeed. Mediocre horses just do not do that at this highest level of racing. I will just put it down to home track advantage rather than anything suspicious. Stewards around the world must be scratching their heads over the uncharacteristic performance of Prince Bishop.

+Mervyn Sullivan no drugs allowed in Dubai. OR UK but I always wonder. Chrome ran drug free and no nasal strip either. He did great considering his weight loss. He had nothing left in him by the time he got to UK to train. Chrome trained but we could see his heart wasn't in it. He trained because he's taught to do what they want him to do. Sometimes I wish these "good boys" would KICK. HARD. LOL

Will be interesting to see how this race is rated. CC, Lea and Candy Boy finished in relation to each other as you would have expected them to do in a US dirt race, so it's hard to argue that they ran below form. Could PB really have improved 10-15 pounds from the switch to dirt? Seems unlikely, but remember Cigar, Mineshaft etc.

Buick won that race , miss the start got pushed along , he could see there was a hot speed which ultimately cost the leading pack, Prince bishop moved to the outside and showed a better turn of foot and staying ability over that last 600 ... Simple as that , Terrbile riding from the leading pack especially CC should of won that race by a mile with a better ride ....

+SkuxxMuffin02 an interview with Buick had him saying HE was stunned PB took off. Got sick of the dirt in his face and just bolted off. LOL AND flew up to win. Good thing he stayed out of all the bumping going on up front. Was a great race. If PB didn't bolt off......CC would have taken first. ALMOST. CC ran a great race and kicked into that "other gear" when PB came up beside him to challenge him but CC didn't have it in him to advance. Second place paid him well though.....$2million for a 2 min. race. Not bad. It's after Dubai that messed Chrome up mentally and physically.......BAD choice wanting to race him in UK. NOT rested proper and such a weight loss. NOW as of last week, Taylor Made Stallions in Kentucky where CC lives, said Chrome has gained back 160 lbs of the weight he lost. geezuz. Poor Chrome. Such a Rock Star year turned bad fast. Over worked, hurt, severe weight loss. I'm sure that's why Coburns sold their share to Taylor Made......they saved his life. Vet check by TM showed he needed REST. Time to be a horse again and it's paid off big time. I hate to see Chrome get back into racing actually. I wish he'd retire and start a stud career. Taylor Made has mares lined up for him. Poor horse might NOT want to train again. Art will find out later this month when they ship Chrome back to LosAlamitos.

+Misbah Ahmed Taylor Made Stallion bought out Coburns 30% share of Chrome. AND had a vet check done. Vets orders was to give Chrome pasture time and lots of rest. He worked 23 months straight, with 19 starts with NO proper rest. He never would have done good in the Royal Ascot. Thank God Taylor Made bought a percentage of Chrome. Saved his life. He had an abscess foot and cannon bone bruise. Chrome has been at Taylor Made Farm, Kentucky, resting and doing great there. Now, Art wants to train him to race as a five yr old in 2016. Chrome will go back to Taylor Made end of 2016 to start his stud career at age 6. The owner who owns most of Chrome/70% worked him hard. Too hard. He was so skinny and lethargic and still the owner had him in UK to train for the Ascot races. Poor horse. I'd like to see him just stay at Taylor Made Farm, Kentucky and start breeding now. NO more racing. He's made $6.3 million already. That's enough. geez. Taylor Made said Chrome, as of last week, has gained back the 160 lbs he lost. He's looking great, happy and healthy once again. For now. God Bless all these race horses.

Seems a weak field overall in this 2015 edition. None including the winner had a strong impressive kick in the stretch.

CC broke slow, got caught wide, traveled farther. It happens in horse racing a lot. If it didn't they wouldn't have to go to the trouble of running the race:)

Carlos Alvarez Really Carlos? PB obviously ran his heart out, but so did CC. If you didn't notice, he was at the top the entire race. That pony can run. He may have quite the publicity, but it was fabricated, there is a reason people love him. Sorry it bugs you so much.
