I swear every time something from NYC or Philly is featured I regret moving outta Jersey... and yes, Pat and Geno's are for the tourists. Go find an Italian deli and your get cheese steak. If the place is quiet, go somewhere else, believe me. The louder the employees, the better the food.

I have a sincere question. Pat and Geno have been around forever and they use rib eye grilled onion/mushroom and cheeze wiz. thats pretty original, matter of fact as original as it gets. Why is it looked down on? Ive eaten at pats before and a couple hole in the wall places. Dont get me wrong the small spots were just as good but pats is fucking good too.
