Welcome to our second video review of the Meyra Optimus 2RS all terrain powerchair where are taking it outside to show you what its like out of the showroom, all we can say its totally different to anything else!!

It is great to see another addition to the wheelchair 'off-road' market. I'm one winning million dollar lottery ticket away from test driving this one and a few others.

@@southernmobilityservices As do I! Forty years a c4,5,6 sci, I would need some corrective seating (the Captains chair) that would address proper back alignment. I would enjoy discovering more about your product...just in case I get lucky

It all depends on the sand i.e. soft to walk on not really as it will get in all the wheel bearings, but a more packed then yes.

Seen this on the Motability site. Says 45 mile range. Looks awesome but, it is any good for indoor use too

Hi Chris, If you had a house like Buckingham Palace it would fine, but if you have a 3 bed semi then forget it. It will chew carpets up and eat door frames for fun. 👍

I would say just an outside chair as it needs quite alot of room 🙂

Hi Ruth, You can use it on the road as it is 8mph and has lights.👍

What is the cost and do you accept Aetna insurance? What is the speed and miles per charge?

Hi Regina, the Optimus starts at £6400 & rising to 11k. The basic is 4mph and the RS version is 8mph. The distance for the batteries is 15 miles for the basic & 30 for the RS with 100ah batteries in. We don't run insurance based wheelchair purchases in the UK. :)

Hi there, I'm not sure they are imported to the Philippines. Would suggest doing a Google search to see if you get any results. If you can get one then you wont be disappointed. 👍

👎👎👎 Diese Präsentation ist extrem mangelhaft 👎👎👎 würde man die Hügel Abfahrten auch mal hoch fahren, würde man sehr schnell sehen dass Optimus 2 keine der gezeigten Abfahrten wieder hoch kommt... leider kann man nicht immer Berg ab fahren... und ja bloß nicht feuchten Untergrund oder feuchtes Laub... dann geht nämlich gar Nichts mehr... Optimus 2 ist ein gutes Gerät aber in vielen Dingen kommt man schnell an die Grenzen des Machbaren... und im Winter geht's erst recht los mit den Problemen. Leider hat Optimus 2 ein großes Problem und das ist die Bereifung, als Allrad 4x4 WOW das wäre Perfekt und unschlagbar..., dann hätte man nahezu keine Probleme mehr...

I dont know if you noticed but its summer when we did the video. Its like every car advertisment that done in the dry cant be right because they didnt show it in the snow where funny enough it will skid more. Its obious that any chair in wet or muddy ground will slip more, and in those circumstances users may not wish to use a chair. What we are showing is that in the conditions we used the chair it works fine.
