What’s up my luvs
First video with my new drums is here!! I LOVE how this sounds!! And you guys know I’m not the biggest fan normally but I was really stoked on this. Other than my ridiculous looking skirt (not sure why I keep striking out with my outfits 🙄) this video really looks and sounds goooood. The kit is so much smaller and I can reach everything really easily. So much more comfortable!!!!! And sounds soooooo good in my ears thanks to the amazing pre amps from www.zzounds.com And ummmm how about them brushes? I havn’t played brushes in 20 years. I found them under the couch completely bent, but was able to revive them. I couldn’t really hear the song when I was playing that part, it was too low in the mix and had no click so the part is a bit shaky but A for effort, yes?

I’ve listened to the isolated drum track and this is the closest I’ve heard anyone get to the actual kick pattern. I’m obsessed with correct kick technique for some weird reason, but I see most people play this with a lot of kick omissions, which is a travesty to this song because of how complicated/exhausting the original kick pattern is. Well done. Well done.

It must be like Hanukkah and New Year's and your birthday all at once, every day, when you get to enjoy your new, hard earned shiny equipment, harmonically interacting with the awesome drum set. And btw., you look cute in that summer skirt, and you often present a variety of different wears that are easy on the eyes!. Anything would look good on you of course anyways! Perfectly in shape that you have remained throughout the decade as a successful musician, and beautiful person in and out! So, not to worry about the (tiny) lack of material around the knee area! I was working on my laptop. Listening a random playlist on KZfaq. KZfaq page was minimized. "Yeah, Alanis Morisette, You Oughta Know... wow... nice memories... wow nice rimshot... I didn't remember it was so clear... and what a bass drum, so steady and solid... and what a snare! So full and clear! It must be a sort of remixed version, remastered...". I click on KZfaq window and finally I see! "It's Meytal! Of course that solid drumming... Meytal Cohen!"
