That shadowing effect and dry brushing is just so good.

I can't really be mad at the articulation for this one. It feels way more realistic to me than the range of a typical figure. If you wore that suit in real life your mobility would be greatly decreased as well.

I believe, according to Mezco's details for this figure, that it isn't die-cast metal, but real metal.

You know the elbows knees and ankles bug me too although like you said he is pretty bulky and in the movie I don't think he moves much more than this figure allows anyways. I do wish those points had better movement but it's pretty accurate to the movie so that's actually pretty cool! The cape is awesome I can't thank you enough for spreading it out and giving us a view of just how big it is. I think the lack of upper body articulation is a good thing, it seems as though he has about the same amount of mobility as Ben did in the movie in that amour.

That figure looks INCREDIBLE! I thinks Mezco hit the sweet spot with this 1/12 line. It really does have the look of a Hot Toys figure but in a smaller scale. I don't mind the articulation issues because that is the trade off with using cloth. Sculpted figures like the DC Multiverse figure should excel in posability but you said it best when you said this makes that toy look like a bathroom toy. Can't wait to see what else Mezco comes up with. Thanks for the review!

@shartimusprime Mezco said that's real metal not diecast. Plus the Kryptonite gas launcher (not grenades) cocks open and you can put the gas canisters in it!

I think the regular Dawn of Justice Batman might be my first Meco one:12... must get Deadpool and Joker and probably Spidey.

I'm looking forward to the Green Arrow figure. I don't normally collect figures but the GA one looks awesome. This figure looks great so I might invest in Mezco.

Why don't Mezco just use capes with wires in them like Mafex? That whole setup with the clips is unnecessary.

i think the reason batman wears this suit is for selling toys. because it does not make sense he can beat superman with the suit , it makes him slower. (although i know its based on miller's tdkr) and it works really well on selling merchandise.

I'm probably gonna wait for the original BvS batman cause that suit will be all fabric so the articulation will be a lot better. Great review.

I wish they would have advertised the die-cast at the Mezco booth at SDCC. I passed on it becuase I though they were ridiculous asking $110.00 for a glorified Marvel Legends figure. They didn't even have it displayed with the cape display clips. I'm standing on the sidelines and watching curiously if there 1/12 line of figures resembling Hot Toys will take off,..🤔

I totally agree with this review. The figure looks great. The head doesn't seem to sit THAT high in hand, eventhough i can understand that it bothers some people. The two minor issues I have are with articulation. As you rightly pointed out in you video, the knees and elbow joints are very much hindered by the armor, which is at the same time understandable and frustrating. The other issue is with the cape. While the fabric looks very cool I think it's a bit all over the place and i'm having a hard time making it look more sublte. But mainly this figure looks and feels really cool and I know I'm gonna have a blast taking pictures of it. Oh yes the very bad issue I have with it is that it's another great figure adapted from a very bad movie. These last couple years I really feel I'm frequently investing in awesome toys from bad movies. This will be the same when I get my shf Harley Quinn lol

He looks fat. I think we have seen the limitations with the 1:12 line. A lot of recent figures have lost their waist. They look more like a box rather than an upside down triangle. I think the Mafex looks like the best Batman.
