Hello and welcome back to another exciting episode of Quirk Analysis 101, the series where I give you a detailed rundown on the quirks in Kohei Horikoshi's world of My Hero Academia or as it's also known as Boku No Hero Academia. In the last video, I discussed the ability that belongs to the questionable bald-headed middle-aged man who lives inside our teenage boy protagonist’s head, Daigoro Banjo, and his super slick quirk black whip. In today’s video, I will be discussing the quirk that belongs to the masked multi mandible monster of class 1-A, Mezo Shoji! So sit back and relax as we duplicate ourselves on over to the deliciously deceitful quirk that is Dupli-Arms.

Good idea but what about not being compatible with the donor because of like different blood types and stuff. If that was the case that would suck as like there would be a lot of donated organs but some people couldn't use them due to compatibility issues and other stuff 😢. Hope that doesn't happen tho 😊.

I absolutely love Shoji, he’s so cool and the like in the second movie where Chimera said Shoji was probably bullied made me so sad…especially because he wears the mask since he made a child cry. I want him to have more screen time, he has such a cool quirk and I wanna see him use it more than just recon mostly

Shoji has always been one of my favourite characters in My hero Academia and I’ve always enjoyed what little screen time he’s had. May seem a little odd that one of my favourite characters is one of the least shown, but hey, my least favourite character is Deku, so... not that odd for me.

I like the fact that despite looking like Kakashi, we still get to see his mouth. But as it turns out, his actual mouth is x10 creepier than expected if you look at the concept art.

This I one of those quirks that i really am ok with. Sure it will make you look like a freak but imagine the amount of work or labor you can do quick and easy by having multiple strengthened body parts.

He is actually first seen in episode 4 during the entrance exam, he is only there for a brief moment but is the only one on the screen, he is on a building whilst the teachers are going over the diferent stratigies the future heroes might do, he is shown streching out his arms and is when the teachers and saying some students might want to plan before attacking

Great video as always dude (even thou I haven't finished it yet xddd). I would like to see an Analysis on the quirk Hellflame next. The fact that Endeavor can make cold flames (like the ones in his costume) and also Flames that can do Impact damage (like with his Fire Spears) is something that i never see being discussed by the fandom.

Shoji could coat his duplicated parts of layers upon layers of femur and other bones for protection. And he can also use this as a shield if he can coat the webbed connecting things in bone

It’s also theoretically possible that considering his tentacles duplicate enhanced parts. That if he duplicates a tentacle, that duplicated tentacle will be even better at making the next part of his body better. Effectively improving him exponentially. He could theoretically go on infinitely, although it’s said as he makes more and more duplicates his control is lowered. So perhaps it might be a cool supermove, sacrificing accuracy for immense strength.

His physical strength is insane, he literally has world record breaking amounts of grip strength, despite not having that much muscle in comparison to these real world record holders. Does he just have some kind of super powerful muscle fibers? Cause it doesn't seem that his duplicated limbs are any stronger than his regular ones (this can be seen in his fight against pony, where he uses all of his arms, duplicated and non duplicated to shatter her horns) And if so he really should spend more time training his strength, he would be able to keep up with most strength based quirks with pure muscular strength alone, especially since it seems like he could slap on like 40 more kilos of lean muscle on his frame, even more maybe if he takes steroids.

I like to imagine what would happen if all for one steals this quirks, we have seen a lot of quirks that need to touch or use the hands, so all for one could guve it to some one like Shigaraki, Uraraka, Overhaul or Star and Stripes. Or he could use it himselfz the combinations would be crazy, like the air canon of his fight against All might with multiple arms, or with blood fish quirk and a lot of mouths in his arms (the guy form the camp attack with the metal teeth)

Bro, I always wondered, why couldn't he just copy musculars quirk and grow a shit ton of muscles around his body? They could just come from his arms and wrap around the rest of him, so I really don't know why he never thought of that. Maybe he has some sort of limit on the amount of cells he can duplicate at a time? But seeing as he can create like a massive tower of flesh with eyes in order to accurately measure out the size of gigantomachia, I don't see any reason why he can't do it

There's something that I've been thinking about lately. He's able to make all the new body parts he makes with his tentacles break back down and reabsorb the organic tissue back into those tentacles to make new body parts. So I wonder if he could possibly be able to use his tentacles to absorb biomass. For a visual reference, think about the time Imperfect Cell drank a guy. He could also use his tentacles to heal people. You're also not the only one that thought about Shouji being able to copy Muscular's moves, I think he could copy Moonfish's too if he tried.

Yes, he can speak with those mouths, meaning that he has fully developed vocal chords, and a source of air that passes through the mouth, allowing him to speak. That means that it actually does connect to his lungs, meaning that he can definitely breathe with it

11:40 I assume he can't do that because 1) he can't create organs like brain or heart. We only see him create body parts that give him senses, but not a single actual organ. 2) Even if he could create inside organa and even recreate an entire body, would he be able to contrOl it if he severs it's connection?
