How has your steering system worked since?.... I'm thinking of doing something similar with mine

it doesnt leak oil, it steers, and nothing has broke. it is work great

Why did you go with this double ended cylinder, you showed that other massey that had a single cylinder on the back of the axle, both wheels joined with a Tie Rod on the front, just curious, looking for options, my steering box started puking, this evening while mowing. I Don't need the adjustable width front end, I'll set it wide and go.

i thought it would be easier insulation, the other tractor shown is on a 4 wheel drive tractor that has more mounting points for for the tierod and steering cylinders

Do you remember what the two other lines were for on the power steering rack, the two that connect to the top round part of the steering rack?@@farminwithfergusons

they were hydraulic oil pressure in and out. my guess is the factor did this to cool the the gearbox. i looped these lines together@@pontiacmaniac2

@@farminwithfergusons Roger that, hoping to finish this prject today, I'll probably have to make another hose inorder to loop them together, I'll have to take a closer look at it.
