I recently upgraded my manual IRVM to an auto-dimming IRVM in my MG Astor. With this upgrade, I can now enjoy a safer and more comfortable driving experience, as the auto-dimming feature helps to reduce glare from headlights and other bright lights that can cause eye strain and distract me from the road. The installation process was straightforward, and I was able to do it myself at home.

Hi Prakash. I want to install this on a mahindra xuv300. I think it uses the same bracket as the astor. Could you please give me the seller's name from Alibaba and what was the whole process of ordering one like selecting the bracket, type of delivery, any customs etc.

Awesome product and very well explained. My question is have you driven with this device on potholes wala road so as to know whether USB stick doesnot move from its slot (the stick is long and the slot is short, with time it tends to get loose) Secondly i am using dashcam which is powered by this slot. What can i do to install this IRVM without this slot

thank you for appreciating!! Excellent observation! I would like to bring to your notice one thing- and that is the fact that the extra cable has been hidden just above portion and a tight for of cable has also been ensured! In this way the moment of usb has been taken care of I did use the car ob some bad roads but haven't faced any issue till now You can power the audio dining irvm in your Astor with fuse adapter by using a fuse slot! No problem in that as well

Great work 👍🏻 You mentioned about warranty void issue, will the warranty be void if connect with fuse box? In your ambient light installation video, you said you will confirm with MG and update about warranty issue if any after next service of your Astor. What did MG people say about warranty after ambient light installation?

Yes you can install it! Just check the adaptor that's needed and tell the person on Alibaba! Once it comes all you need to do is - get this installed! I am going to get for Mahindra Thar

That would be really really great. Also, does this voltage booster impact on the battery or any existing electrical system in the car? The Xuv's wiring system especially on the Luxury pack are extremely complex hence don't want to get the car catch fire or something 😂😂

Excellent video. I was searching for the solution since long. One last question, from where can i get fuse adapter? As I wish to install in fuse box. Also why did you installed with booster and not with fuse adapter ? as later would have resulted in no visible wire in cabin

You can get from local store as well! Or www.nexdigitron.com/products/fuse-tap-adapter-mini-set-of-2 This is the thing! I wanted to make a video which was completely DIY at home so i installed the same in the usb port! I have one more auto dimming rear view mirror which i will install in my other car and in that i will get the same installed via fuse adapter! Hope you understand!
