I am planning to buy between Sonet / Venue / Astor. My current car is polo 1.5 diesel, completed 1 lakh kms. My monthly run would be 600 kms mostly city and 30% highways. After my test drive, I felt Astor is superior among the 3 shortlisted. can you tell me exact mileage bumper to bumper and light traffic?? I heard if we are light footed it gives good mileage with less braking and less than 2000 rpm. I am confused between the Sonet htk+ 1.2 petrol and the Astor base variant, both are in the same price bracket

Seat adjustment is manual in many 20 lakh cars. Suspension for Astor is comparatively soft compared to say Seltos or Sonet or even Taigun that have harder suspensions.

Can you give the correct ground clearance? I dont think its 205mm as given on many websites. It looks more like 185mm - 190mm

Its by choice sir.. you can go for CVT. Also.. this is my personal choice that i want MT gear. You can buy MG Astor super CVT in just 13.98 lakhs (ex-showroom) 😊

One major disadvantage I felt when I test drove is its body roll. It made me feel like this car is for city drives only. It has soft suspensions while Germans and Koreans in same segment have stiffer suspension setup.

I don’t think so… because personally i am using it.. even in extreme conditions roads… drove over and above 150kmpl on empty roads… the driving quality is next level..

I heard that MG Astor facelift is going to have automatic turn indicators, just like in Hector. 🤦 Is there any way this feature can be turned off ?

There is no such claim by MG Motor India that MG astor facelift is coming in the market.. If i get any news regarding this will clear your doubt.

how is performance in hills. I heard it feels underpowered on hills with full 4-5 people and 2-3 luggages.. pls provide some feedback on this and also on overall fuel efficiency..

Hey Buddy.. it just a myth people are talking about.. there is no lag no issue and not even it feels like underpower. this car gives you a good comfort on hills and also a punchy boost when you're on hills.. DON'T GO WITH PUBLIC RUMOURS. HAVE A TEST DRIVE BRODA

The car is cool and I want to buy it. But I just feel its large panoramic sunroof which comes with very thin curtain is not practical in North India as we have summers for most of the year. Rest this car is superb.

What about automatic dimming real view mirror, Ventilated seats, wireless android whcih are missing and pretty standard in in lower end cars. What about poor mileage. Also on the good side what about so many smart features in this car, which are unheard in most other similar cars. Scoda is another such smart car.

I agree that MG astor had no automatic dimming rearview mirror and ventilated seat.but who said that the car is giving poor mileage.. you can go to my other video’s regarding average on highway or on city.. more over you will find multiple other features which makes MG Astor stand out from it segments.. thanks for the comment

There is a name alike modification sir. I upgarded my tyre to 18 inch stock.. Secondly urban is for highway because stearing will become lit. Bit hard in this mode, normal is for city " slightly lighter then urban " then dynamic which works automatically
