In India, MG Motor has unveiled the facelifted Hector and Hector Plus SUVs. The new MG Hector 2023 starts at Rs 14.73 lakh, while the three-row MG Hector Plus facelift starts at Rs 20.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Here are the updated prices for the Hector and Hector Plus. The Hector is available in six trim levels: Style, Shine, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.

mg hector mileage test New MG Hector *OFF-ROADING*The Hector Plus 6/7-seater is available in Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro trims. The Hector and Hector Plus SUVs retain the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. This unit has a peak torque of 250Nm and a power output of 143hp.This engine was previously available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. However, it is no longer available on facelifted SUVs. In addition, the petrol engine's 7-speed DCT gearbox has been discontinued.

Level 2 ADAS CAR in India : Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) cars are vehicles that have a combination of driver assistance features, such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB). These systems are designed to enhance safety and make driving more convenient.

Tata Harrier / Safari ADAS: At the ongoing Auto Expo, Tata Motors unveiled the 2023 Harrier and Safari. Among other things, the updated SUVs get ADAS and a larger touchscreen infotainment system. Tata displayed the Harrier and Safari facelifts in Dark edition form. Both SUVs are outfitted with red exterior accents and red leather upholstery. Tata has introduced new features in addition to minor cosmetic updates. Both SUVs have been upgraded with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera.
Importantly, the Harrier and Safari now have ADAS. Autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, door open alert, lane departure warning, lane change alert, and high beam assist are among the safety features included.

The diesel engine is also the same 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-litre unit found in the Harrier, Safari, and Compass. On the Hector diesel, MG continues to offer only a single six-speed manual transmission.
