I had MG Hector plus petrol variant and drove around 11000kms, the milage of the car is around 10kmpl. However, the performance of the car is top notch. 4 months back i had a major accident while driving this car. Had a head on collision with Bolero (old model) at a high speed. i was driving the car alone. I was absolutely safe, both the airbags(front) were opened. However, the car was damaged badly, and it went under total loss. But the safety feature of this car is amazing. During the accident, I was in the car and my phone got stolen. I got a call from MG on the car screen to make sure if i was okay, then they called on the emergency number(my dad) to inform about the accident and after 2 hours of the accident later around mid night MG roadside assistance team came to the accident spot as well, in case if any help was needed. So, my experience with MG has been wonderful so far. We have booked same Mg Hector plus sharp hybrid again now.

Everyone who doesn’t own MG car is happy with this review whereas the people owning mg cars are actually happy with them. Even I own mg hector diesel variant and it has quite nice acceleration speed as well as it gives an avg of 20kmpl.

I’m one of the earliest buyers of the Hector ( june 2019) and drove 30k + till date, except lag in reverse camera 🎥 this car can beat any car upto 30 lakh segment & the after sails service is what I believe the “x-factor “ for MG. I don’t know why people are so negative about Hector on social media but I’m in love with her.

Average depends a lot on Driver’s driving style. My hector plus diesel sharp delivers good average of 14.2-15.4

No I bought new mg hector facelift 2023 . I bought the first one in the whole state. And milege was not the issue the car is superb the milage on highway was 15kmpl-17kmpl , my one is diesel vechicle. The power is super. It's longer than alcazer, taller than harrier. And smarter than any car in the whole segment.

Mine is hector 5 seater i am getting 10 km / lit in city and 13-15 km/lit petrol on highway still not completed 1000 kms. Careful cautious driving is needed since this is a sensitive feather touch vehicle. Use cruise control for better mileage

Overall the SUV looks good and I took a test ride (5 seater petrol automatic version) today. Looking for the 6 seater Petrol automatic. Any knower can share his/her experience of the Petrol version, 6seater and automatic on the up hill drive situation. With 140 HP Petrol and 6 seater auto, I have my apprehension of its hill climbing capability!

Sir ji ji I request you to provide us one video with night headlight throw of All 7 seater and 5 seater. So that car company should know that headlight throw is also important feature. Please include Alkazar, Innova, XUV700, Safari, Hector, Carens, Ertiga/XL6. I feel XUV700 is best in headlight throw and Alkazar is worst. Please advise.

Petrol Manual DCT se aur kitna mileage chahiye? Mileage chahiye tha toh manual diesel leni thi.

I have Honda Accord 3.5 V6 275 hp. It gives me around 6-7 in city and 9-10 on highway. However it's a V6 3.5 liter 275 horsepower engine with 250 top speed, so what do you expect. However this suv has so less mileage it's a shame.

I think this guy is a very heavy driver. I own 2 MG Hector top variants (One has driven 90k km and the other one is at 50k km). No issues whatsoever in both the cars, they still drive like new. Both are diesel variants and deliver 21-22km on highway (tested multiple times on trips from NCR to Punjab). City mileage is between 10 - 15 depending upon the drive and traffic. Build quality is also very good, however, this hector plus in the video does not seem to have met with just a slight touch from a bike rider, looks more of an impact. I chose to buy this car again due to all the features and the performance this car delivers. Service is also very good.

See I have also a mg hector plus 7s and gives average of 13.5 and i had a great accident with it Ford Figo hitted my car at a speed of 70-80mph and then also only bumper was damaged it is a fantastic car I have driven it 10000 km

Well, i don't own this model. However, whatever I heard in this video is opposite to what I got to know from other MG Hector owners. If there are so many issues then probably he should seriously ask them to look into this car for a manufacturing defect.

I own Mg hector same color, but it give a pretty good mileage and has excellent build quality . A biker struck at rear bumper, nothing happened. Just a minor scratch. Ride it , experience it and buy only if u feel it's a good one.

I am also owning MG Hector hybrid but I didn’t face any mileage problems such as shown in video 5-7 kilometre. I am getting mileage from 12 to 17 km. It depends on fuel quality and speed also. This vehicle is equipped with a lot of features.

I can relate to that problem when he said ki iski maasi marjati hai aise baith jaati hai. This problem has almost got me killed on Manali highway by a truck
