Can you bind more than one phone on the app. I.e. if two people use the car surely each person can bind their phone to mange the car remotely and to monitor charging?

Can we have an updated version for the MG4 EV? It is very different and I’ve seen so many people saying that they are having issues - are issues different depending on whether you are using the app on an iPhone or Android device?

thanks, can you turn on and off the V2L via the App ?? or do you have to do it on the screen in the car ?

When we start the car, we do not see the configure button at all. Is this only the very first time ever that the car is started or is this expected to be seen everytime we start the car? I have never seen the configure button on the car.

You need to reset the software on the car to factory settings. Go to settings, system and click on factory reset at bottom of list of options.

MG5: Swipe left on the start screen. Go into settings. You'll find it there.

⁠@@cthompsonmcs Even after a factory reset, my MG ZS EV did not show the QR codes. This seems to be a big problem for many users. Even my MG dealer cannot solve the problem. Why doesn’t MG solve this?

When we start the car, MG4, there is no 'configure button'. In profile screen, ismart app scans the QR code but the phone and car aren't 'married'. Still displays UNKNOWN in vehicle status. Dealer is no help at all as have no training or resources.

You go to main home screen on car display panel and then settings and then it has an option to 'bind' car then it shows QR code to scan

@@amitagarwal1337Does thi also work for MG ZS EV 2022? When the car was new I binded it. After a few months it got disconnected, and now I cannot find the QR code screen anymore. Some people advise to go ack to factory settings. Does anyone have experience with this?

Absolutely useless!! I have a 2022 MG HS PHEV. There is no ‘bind’ option in settings. Just lost an hour of my time I can’t get back 😡

@@Cyprian_G I had to buy another stronger data cable for first slot and use it this way but mg said there is a big update to fix all this next month if not they said they will replace my head unit

Hi, just got my nearly new MG ZS EV today, the QR Code is located at: 1. Slide left at Home screen so you can see main menu. 2. press the Setting (Gear icon). 3. On the right side of screen, you can see smaller sub menu icons, scroll up to show the bottom one says "Bind Vehicle". 4. Click on the big icon to bind. I can't bind mine as the previous owner still had it binded which they should have asked them to unbind before selling the vehicle.

@@selbeah You can try to ask the previous owner to logout from the app. If the problem is still not solved than you can ask the previous owner to log in and log out. It worked for me, after a few attempts. It works best if the previous owner is in close proximity.

Is it really possible that you don’t provide app service for MG ZS 2020 model?! Seriously?! BMW still provides app service for 2016. model!!! But that is the difference between serious and not so serious car makers!

Terrible application. Managed to bind but not too see anything regarding my car. Failure all the time!

No info on how ro set the app up on the phone. Does not register profile as does not send a verification code either to mobile number or email. Rubbish system.

To get the 'configure screen at startup you must do a factory reset in settings, system.
