Purchased this card last month. Happy with the overall performance, comfort level, tech features music system. One gem of a feature was its rear view camera which despite not being a 360 keep stitching the images giving out a very good view of the parking. MG RX8 hasn't been launched here, my family really like this car but I saw in a website that its estimate launch date is next month, May. but thank you for this info we can now see how good it is compared to our previous cars.

Good effort. Just one correction brother. The torque on demand (TOD) actually refers to the automatic all-wheel-drive system which in case of any slippage electronically engages all 4 wheels in a split second (0.1 seconds) and distributes torque between front and rear wheels depending upon driving conditions and type of terrain.

Hey , great review and style. I have an MG as well and had a quick question about FM radio in the car. My car has very inconsistent reception for all FM stations all across UAE and there is a lot if volume fluctuation while the car is moving and playing FM. As per MG, this is an issue with all MG cars and is by design and nothing they can do to fix. Now mine is an MG RX5 , we drove the RX8 as well and the issue seems to be less in that model but wanted to check with you if you have experienced any such issue. Are the speakers in sync n play well? I've heard in another review that the 8 speakers don't play music in sync rather play music one after another. Is that true? Hi Rafey, Finally I bought this car, as you mentioned it was so nice to drive and I luv using it everyday. While checking I have 2 queries to you. 1 : rear camera view is not properly aligned, I can see distance is left line and right line is not correct. How about yours when you use the reverse parking 2 . Parking assistant menu under car setting is always going OFF even though I made it ON. So every time I have to enable it to make my front sensors working. How about your.

Hey Rafey, an excellent review by the way. I'm in the KSA and interested in buying MG RX8 but the dealership doesn't offer any test drive which is strange to me. Anyway, my concern is its 2 L engine although it is Turbocharged. SUV is huge and the engine size seems smaller to me. I'm wondering if it struggles on the highway when around 100-125 KM/Hr and how it AC works with it. Since you own it for a while, what so you think of it now. Hi Rafey - Love the video you posted about your review, I purchased this car in About May this year. . But I would like to get some feedback from other RX8 drivers. 1) I drove over sand and went camping in a famous spot in Abu Dhabi - called Fossil Dunes ( 2 Days later) this week- I get a warning message about Engine Coolant over heating. Naturally I returned home and called recovery services to tow the car back to MG. After inspecting it the next day, they called me to say there is sand around the engine area and this broke the Radiator Fan. - To my surprise... after no proper off road use, this car engine cannot handle small offroad driving and breaks ( best part they wanted me to pay over 1000 AED to replace this because they say warranty would not cover sand damage) hello... We are in UAE - this is a 4x4, it should cover, this was my argument. And finally today they called to say they will fix it under warranty cover but they are waiting for the parts. Which means the car will only come back next week sometime. MG RX8 durability in serious question for middle east environment.

Do you also find that the steering wheel vibrates when driving over 110km/h? I'm trying to figure out if this is a common problem or not. The dealership and service shop for MG in Qatar tells me that it is because its built on the Maxus truck chassis and its just something it does, witch does not sound right to me.
