I came across a video of Lola Damiana while randomly scrolling on Facebook. Soon after, I went onto YT and became hooked. She was a no nonsense type of lady. Tough and brash at times but every now and then... and especially with you Rab, Kuya Raymundo and Rhea (Surviving's Wife) her sweet and playful side would shine through. I always loved your visits with her because I could feel that your interactions with her were genuine. You had real conversations with her, took the time to listen to her and made her feel comfortable to be around you. I loved it when you would sit really close beside her and talk right in her ear. It allowed her to hear you much better and also showed how comfortable the two of you were with each other. You have a special quality in you Rab and I pray that it never goes away. You are genuinely a good person with a very kind heart. I will rewatch videos of you and Damiana when I need to smile. RIP Lola Damiana. Thank you for the joy and laughter you brought to our lives!
