I don't really see Mattel as being shady in this situation. To me, they are a doll business who is in competition with Mga, and doing what any brand would do. Everyone wants their business to succeed, and bringing back MyScene is really a very smart move for them. I am a MyScene girl and have always loved them. I was sad when they went away, so this is really great news :) I am interested in some of the Barbie dolls that are coming out; so we shall see how this year goes.

I’ve been a Mycene collector for years and I’m so excited for the reboot! I have more than 50 myScene dolls at the moment and several playsets as well… Yeah and styling heads… 😂❤

I never was a Bratz or Myscene girl but seeing the quality and designs these Bratz have (or LOL, RainbowHigh…) I wonder why Barbie can’t be like that? 😢 The pixelated faces are out of control, they have the most basic and lowest quality clothes, or no clothes at all…it’s sad to see my fav girl like a dollar store doll 😭

I’m definitely a My Scene Girl,,I just could not get into the feet of the Bratz dolls. I’m a Doll lover of all types of dolls except the Bratz,but I can see why other people love them they are pretty.

The feet are so creepy. Not to mention, sometimes the lips can be so huge that there's no space between their nose. Also, the clothes barely fit any other dolls. They also all have the same face, of course My Scene did too, but their faces were better.

My Scene got better later on imo, not really into the debut line. It’s so boring to me. I wished it was Masquerade Madness or My Bling Bling. Juicy Bling pr something from the sultry eye era.

Idk how many times I have to say this: the Dream Teens do NOT use the Mattel Bratz sculpt. Mattel was COURT ORDERED to DESTROY every single mould and file they used for those dolls. If they didn't, they could face huge fines. They most certainly would not want to pay that kind of money for any reason and it probably would not go down well with investors. The faces are also way too small to be Mattel Bratz. If you look closely, they moreso resemble Disney Fairies, Star Darlings and Hairdorables than Bratz. Istg I'm so tired of seeing people perpetuate this rumour.

I'm pretty sure someone who's a Bratz apologist pulled this comparison first, then Isaac, then the official Bratz account did that sub-tweet video to the line "why you so obsessed with me? Boy, I wanna know" and now some people seem to think it's an actual thing Mattel is doing. As if they would ever be that stupid.

I'm so excited for so many of these releases this year! 😍 Especially those Odie mermaids, the mermaid Color Reveal, and My Scene coming back?! So exciting! 😄 I have one My Scene doll, Birthday Club Kennedy, I got second hand and she is in sort of sad shape. I need to re-root her hair. Maybe I'll try but I really am not good at that. Haha😂

I was never into Bratz or MyScene. I also wasn't into Monster High, Ever After High, LOL Surprise, or any of the other 'big head' doll lines. Then I got a Rainbow High doll, and I discovered Shadow High, and now I'm hooked on Shadow High. The quality of those dolls at that price point is insane. I hope the blue-dress Looks doll is fake, and we get another male character instead. One male doll in the group? That's not good. We need more Made-to-Move male dolls, and the Looks line has been pretty much the only way to get them lately. I'm excited for the Dr. Who and Ruby Sunday dolls. I missed out on the Jodie Whittaker Doctor doll, hopefully the Ncuti Gatwa Doctor doll will be as awesome as I'm imagining.

Just recently I started to adore the Fashion Fever line and fashions, but can’t afford to buy any of them : ( wow they go for a pretty penny. Especially for me since I’m not a collector per se but a buying for my kids to play with. Maybe My Scene will be a more accessible way to tap into that Y2K glamour :)

They might fit Barbie. I took Jr. Highs Violet sweater and gave it to a Barbie sized doll it fits nicely. Also, OMG and RH clothes can fit petite Barbie for the most part.

I love the My Scene song, the dolls & fashions. And I wasn't into dolls back then. But since becoming a collector in the last couple years, I've learned about them & am also excited for the upcoming dolls ! I was 30 in 2000 & was in my prime, going out, etc. That song is good, like music used to be in my youth, the 70s/80's...lol.

Oh I'm a My Scene girl. I never understood why people liked Bratz at all. Their faces look weird to me and with ugly little bodies. But My Scene came out and Wow! Such pretty dolls. There's no contest at all...My Scene wins easily. I have thrifted quite a few over the years and I like to find them that way not just because it's cheap. It's because I'm going to redress them anyway since I'm not a fan of early 2000's style. So if the new dolls are dressed in those fashions from that era I doubt I personally will get them. But I'm still glad they're back. From what little I can make out of the Dream Teens faces, they look like something I will also pass on. I definitely want those 2 Dreamtopia mermaids, they look great, So much to look forward to at the beginning of a new year of doll offerings.

Yesss. Mattel has a proper competitor again! Their quality with Barbie dropped so bad over the years. Cheap, lazy and childish fashions, pixelated faces. Good to see that MGA once again motivated them to do something. I hope MyScene dolls will have some quality and retro vibe to them and let's hope that will reflect on Barbie as well... I'm both Bratz & Barbie girlie ♥

The shoes that come with the mini fashion series 3 (has to be the balls that say 80 on the label), fit Barbie so cute! The shoes that come in the Sneaker series are kinda big on them. The detail on some of the shoes that come in the fashion series are amazing! My favorite are the black lace up boots. So realistic and sooo cute! Great video as always, Arjen! I’m excited for the next Looks line, and of course the My Scene return. 😍💖

I had a Chelsea! I think nowadays the originals of Bratz and My Scene may be too skinny and a bit off looking in the face for me. I think it might just be Barbie and LOL for me. However, I’ve been considering some of the deepest skin tone Bratz dolls and I saw they had at least one My Scene with a deep skin tone. The Dream Teens look really cute.

I'm not a My Scene gurl, I was out of collecting at that time. Not sure if I will purchase or not (HA!). I like the Barbie Looks and it would be odd if they did not have a blond girl, so I'm thinking maybe the photo is real just shot at a different time? I never liked the bratz dolls. My little sister had them and I just wasn’t a fan. They had cute hair and great clothes but I couldn’t get on board with the giant removable feet LMAOOOOO

I have three Bratz dolls and probably won’t get more. I do like some Bratz that have been repainted to look like young girls, I saw a lady from Australia who had repainted some and they were really cute.

I hope MGA sues Mattel again. This was and remains a stolen product. Considering Mattel's dirty politics, the only thing the new release of my scene is aimed at is to delay the release of Bratz dolls. Mattel doesn't have any fresh ideas, they don't have a product that works. A big boom with the Barbie movie and then a lull. They released the Monster high line and again there was a lull, Mattel cannot exist on its own, they are like a parasite that is trying to download something from other companies. This corporate monster will crush itself under its own weight.

@@Barbination You may not agree with me, but if you look at Mattel's history from the very beginning. They stole Bild Lilli in Germany and presented it as a vulgar toy for adults, although Ruth herself bought it in a children's store, Then there was Jem and the Holograms, then there was Maxine, then there were these Bratz and the story with my scene, then they tried to cover up LOL with the release Extra barbie. Now that MGA is making a more budget-friendly Rainbow high series and concentrating on the new Bratz release, Mattel is trying to start rumors about the release of My Scene again. The funny thing is that the released Monster high line shares a lot with MGA's unreleased Nova Stars. Mattel can compete and use other people's ideas, but this company does not have its own ideas.
