Nice video, i'm running the same esc with a 3080/6 lehner, on an mcd xr5 (slightly heavier vehicle). Currently testing and working my way up the voltage band to 12s. how has your ESC handled the power when you throw WOT (wide open throttle) especially with your power settings? i'm concerned about voltage spikes melting down the ESC. I like to do some drifting, not just pure speed runs. really concerned that this ESC may not be able to really handle 12s power. Great content! and sweet ride, you got a sub from me!

You do not really have to worry too much about the esc. It has protections for amps, temperature and other things to keep it from getting damaged. The higher you go on the voltage, the easier it will be on the controller as far as amps are concerned. You just have to be careful not to overspin (turn too many rpm) the motor, because a lot of rpm for a sustained time, can be damaging.
